It noted that pulling the plug on taxpayer-subsidized housing would encourage illegal aliens to leave the country.
“American tax dollars should be used for the benefit of American citizens, especially when it comes to an issue as pressing as our nation’s housing crisis,” HUD Secretary Scott Turner said. “We will continue to work closely with DHS to maximize our resources and put American citizens first.”
The Biden administration spent tens of millions of dollars providing housing for illegal aliens, including paying for free hotel stays.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem had a blunt message for illegal aliens.
