Patel submitted bombshell evidence to Congress proving that Wray deliberately misled lawmakers about foreign interference in the 2020 presidential election.
The explosive revelations center around an Internal Intelligence Report that the FBI buried to protect the Biden campaign from scrutiny.
According to the Daily Mail, Patel’s testimony reveals that the FBI under Wray shut down an internal investigation into Chinese Communist Party efforts to undermine the 2020 election.
The FBI information report was sent to U.S. intelligence agencies on August 24, 2020, but was suddenly recalled in September 2020 — the day after Wray testified to Congress that he had not seen any large-scale voter fraud efforts.
But instead of investigating this threat to American democracy, senior FBI officials made the report disappear.
Patel claims the report was "recalled" and removed from internal systems without any explanation to the agents who discovered the Chinese interference.
"The reporting will contradict Director Wray’s testimony," Patel told lawmakers in prepared remarks.
Sources familiar with the matter revealed that some FBI employees were actually instructed to act as if the explosive report never existed.
The cover-up was so thorough that the existence of the report was only discovered during a review of documents left behind by previous Bureau leadership.
Wray’s lies under oath finally exposed
Christopher Wray’s deception runs deeper than anyone imagined.
In September 2020, just weeks before the presidential election, Wray testified before the House Homeland Security Committee and the Senate and downplayed the possibility of large-scale fraud and foreign disruption.
"We have not seen, historically, any kind of coordinated national voter fraud effort in a major election, whether it’s by mail or otherwise," Wray told lawmakers, claiming the Bureau was vigilant about election threats.
But according to Patel, that statement was a complete lie based on what the FBI knew internally.
The buried report described Chinese Communist Party-affiliated actors using false identification documents and social media networks to produce counterfeit driver’s licenses.
These fake IDs would then be used by Chinese nationals and other nonvoters to cast ballots at polling locations across the United States.
The operation was specifically designed to influence the vote in favor of Joe Biden.
Patel and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino issued a scathing statement ahead of his Congressional appearance that left no doubt about their disgust with the previous leadership.
"Based on our continued review and production of FBI documents related to the CCP’s plot to interfere in the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, previous FBI leadership chose to play politics and withhold key information from the American people – exposing the weaponization of law enforcement for political purposes during the height of the 2020 election season," the statement read.
The Deep State machine in full action
The corruption didn’t stop with just burying the report.
Patel’s testimony reveals that the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force completely failed to take proper action in response to the Chinese interference.
"We have found no information to indicate that FITF-China properly investigated the reported information or followed logical investigative leads, despite corroborating intergovernmental reporting," Patel’s prepared remarks stated.
Senior FBI officials actively suppressed the investigation and discouraged further inquiry into the matter to avoid political fallout and shield Wray from scrutiny.
This wasn’t incompetence – this was a deliberate decision to let foreign adversaries interfere in an American election because it served their political purposes.
The American people were kept in the dark about a serious threat to election integrity while Wray testified under oath that no such threats existed.
Patel and Bongino made it clear that this kind of political weaponization of law enforcement will not be tolerated under their leadership.
"This FBI leadership team will continue keeping our promise of aggressive transparency and working around the clock to fix the underlying problems to restore the FBI to the trusted institution the American people deserve," they declared.
