White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had another one of her “moments.”
It was another cringe performance.
And Karine Jean-Pierre wanted to run and hide when confronted with this simple question.
Joe Biden loves to have the narrative seep out into the media that he is personally Pro-Life because of his Catholic faith and that the Democrat Party’s abortion radicalism makes him uncomfortable.
But Biden has a funny way of showing that’s the case as he publicly supports taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand up until the moment of birth.
A reporter confronted Jean-Pierre about this contradiction, asking if Biden supported late-term restrictions that were the law of the land under Roe v. Wade.
Jean-Pierre could not bring herself to say that Joe Biden supported laws that banned terminating the lives of babies in the third trimester.
“I — well, if it’s in Roe, then that’s what he wants to see. I’m just not going to get into it. It’s — whatever is in Roe, what Roe was when it was a constitutional law, that’s what the President wants to see restored. He’s been very clear about that,” Jean-Pierre responded.
The reporter then asked Jean-Pierre about what Biden had to say to Pro-Lifers who doubted Biden’s claim that he was the President of all Americans when he never seemed to take their views into consideration.
Jean-Pierre’s response essentially amounted to telling Pro-Life activists that Biden thinks they should drop dead and that they don’t count for anything.
“What I will say is a majority of Americans — a majority of Americans wants to see their rights protected, wants to see women have their rights protected, wants to be able to — wants — want women to be able to make those deeply, deeply personal decisions on their bodies on their own, and not politicians. That’s what the majority of Americans want to see,” Jean-Pierre replied.
“And so, the President is going to stand with the majority of Americans on this issue,” Jean-Pierre added.
That led to one final, basic question.
“And do those unborn babies have any rights, then?” the reporter asked.
Jean-Pierre’s response made it clear that she and Joe Bidne didn’t believe unborn babies have any rights.
“I’m not going to get into that specific — I’m not going to get into that question. I’ve been very, very clear about this — where a majority of Americans stand, and that’s what matters,” Jean-Pierre stated.
“But the President wants to see Roe become the law of the land, and that’s what he’s going to continue to ask Congress to do,” Jean-Pierre concluded.
Despite the media gaslighting – because the media uniformly supports abortion on demand – the real radicals on this issue are Democrats.
Karine Jean-Pierre couldn’t name one abortion restriction that Joe Biden would support, nor would she say unborn babies have any rights.
