Karine Jean-Pierre made one jaw-dropping comment about O.J. Simpson

O.J. Simpson turned out to be one of the most notorious figures in America.

Simpson caused another one of White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s infamous gaffes.

And Karine Jean-Pierre made one jaw-dropping comment about O.J. Simpson.

O.J. Simpson dies at the age of 76

O.J. Simpson – who millions of Americans believe was guilty of murdering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in  1994 – passed away at the age of 76 following a battle with cancer.

Simpson’s family made the announcement on social media.

In a video posted to social media prior to the Super Bowl – which turned out to be Simpson’s final public comments – he claimed he was in good health.

“My health is good,” Simpson began. “Obviously I’m dealing with some issues, but I think I’m just about over it, and I’ll be back on that golf course hopefully in a couple of weeks.”

“It was very nice hearing from you and hearing those good, positive words. Thank you,” Simpson concluded.

Simpson erased his career as Heisman trophy winner, NFL Hall of Famer, and Hollywood actor on the night of June 12, 1994, when many believe Simpson murdered Brown Simpson and Goldman.

Police found Brown Simpson stabbed so many times that her head war barely connected to her body.

Goldman was similarly butchered.

Police arrested Simpson as the obvious suspect, and his trial, which lasted from January to November 1995, was deemed the “trial of the century.”

A jury acquits Simpson

In the face of all evidence and reason, the jury acquitted Simpson.

Many believe black jurors wanted to send a message to the Los Angeles Police Department and acquit Simpson as payback for a jury acquitting the police officers that allegedly beat Rodney King in 1991.

Goldman’s family later sued for wrongful death and won a $33.5 million judgment against Simpson.

Jean-Pierre whiffs on Simpson statement

Reporters asked Karine Jean-Pierre about Simpson’s death.

Jean-Pierre expressed no sympathy for Goldman or Nicole Brown Simpson nor any of the 62 incidents of domestic abuse that Brown Simpson alleged took place – eight of which police responded to.

Instead, Jean-Pierre only expressed her desire to respect the family’s wishes for privacy.

“Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time,” Jean-Pierre stated. “I know they have asked for some privacy and so we’re going to respect that. I’ll just leave it there.”

The late Norm Macdonald made his name in the mid 1990s as the host of the “Weekend Update”sketch on Saturday Night Live.

Among Macdonald’s signature bits were running jokes about the O.J. trial and Macdonald’s belief in Simpson’s guilt.

Below is a video of some of Macdonald’s best material.
