Kamala Harris just can't seem to let go of 2024.
The failed candidate keeps making the media rounds to explain away her loss.
And Kamala Harris stunned Jon Stewart with one shocking claim about Joe Biden that left him speechless.
Joe Biden's mental decline became impossible to ignore after his disastrous June 2024 debate performance against Donald Trump.
Democrats panicked and forced him out of the race three weeks later.
But now Kamala Harris is trying to rewrite history in the most absurd way possible.
Harris insists Biden was "fully competent" for another four years
Harris appeared on Jon Stewart's The Weekly Show podcast to promote her book 107 Days and address her "complicated" relationship with Biden.
Stewart asked whether her loyalty to Biden prevented her from distinguishing herself more effectively during the campaign.
"I care about him deeply and I did not want to pile on with all the criticism that he was facing," Harris explained.¹
She admitted she miscalculated how badly voters wanted to see daylight between her and Biden's failed policies.
But then Harris made a jaw-dropping claim that stopped Stewart in his tracks.
When Stewart clarified he was asking about policies rather than "competence," Harris doubled down with a stunning declaration.
"I believe he was fully competent to serve," Harris insisted.²
Stewart's shock was visible.
"Do you really?" he asked in disbelief.
"I do," Harris confirmed.
"That surprises me, actually," Stewart responded.³
Harris tried to explain away the contradiction by claiming there's a major "distinction" between running for president and serving as president.
"Being a candidate for President of the United States is about being in a marathon at a sprinter's pace, having tomatoes thrown at you every step you take," she argued.⁴
Stewart destroys Harris's absurd logic
Stewart wasn't buying it for a second.
"I think it's a hard case to make for people that he didn't have the stamina to run, but he had the stamina to govern because I think most people view the presidency as a marathon run at a sprint with tomatoes being thrown at you in terms of governance," Stewart fired back.⁵
He's absolutely right.
The presidency demands constant high-stakes decision-making under immense pressure.
If Biden couldn't handle debate prep and campaign events, how could he manage nuclear launch codes and international crises?
Harris's claim flies in the face of everything Americans witnessed with their own eyes throughout 2024.
Medical experts expressed serious concerns about Biden's cognitive abilities after the debate performance.
Dr. Marc Siegel called Biden's debate showing a display of "frequent disorientation" and problems with "spontaneity or redirecting."⁶
Veteran journalist Carl Bernstein reported that Biden's close allies saw "marked incidents of cognitive decline and physical infirmity" in the six months before the debate.⁷
Even Biden's own White House physician refused to perform cognitive testing despite mounting evidence of decline.
A House Oversight Committee report released this week documented how Biden's aides concealed his deterioration and even used an autopen to sign executive actions without his direct authorization.⁸
The cover-up continues
Harris's stunning revisionism shows Democrats still won't level with the American people about Biden's condition.
Stewart himself had blasted the "blatant bullshit" from Biden's campaign about the president's health after the June debate.⁹
He called Biden's debate performance "a shocking display of cognitive difficulty recognizable to unfortunately anybody who's dealt with aging parents."¹⁰
For months, Democrats and their media allies gaslit Americans about what they could see with their own eyes.
They claimed Biden was sharp as a tack behind closed doors.
They blamed his failures on jet lag, a cold, or Republicans being mean.
Now Harris wants everyone to believe Biden was "fully competent" for another term even though Democrats forced him out of the race specifically because of cognitive concerns.
The tension between Biden and Harris has only grown since the election.
Harris admitted their relationship is "complicated" and revealed Biden called her before her debate with Trump to complain about Pennsylvania power brokers instead of helping her prepare.¹¹
She wrote in her book that letting the Bidens decide about running for reelection was "recklessness" rather than "grace."¹²
Harris also noted that Biden "at 81, got tired" and "that's when his age showed in physical and verbal stumbles."¹³
So which is it?
Was Biden "fully competent" or was he showing obvious signs of age-related decline?
Harris can't have it both ways.
Americans watched Biden deteriorate in real-time throughout 2024.
They saw him freeze on stage, confuse world leaders, lose his train of thought mid-sentence, and appear disoriented at major events.
A CBS News reporter called Biden's "obvious cognitive decline" the most underreported story of 2024.¹⁴
Democrats knew Biden wasn't fit to run again.
That's why they panicked after the debate and forced him out.
Harris trying to claim otherwise now is just another insult to voters' intelligence.
The American people deserve better than being lied to about the President's mental fitness.
And they certainly don't need Harris gaslighting them about what everyone witnessed in 2024.
