John Kennedy Leveled AOC and Chuck Schumer on Fox News With a Few Words Democrats Should See Someone About

The Democrat Party just hit its lowest favorability rating in modern history – 28% – and John Kennedy knows exactly why.

Now the Louisiana senator went on national television and said out loud what moderate Democrats are terrified to admit.

And he named exactly who broke it.

Kennedy Drops the Diagnosis on Live TV

Sen. John Kennedy joined The Will Cain Show Tuesday and lit up every screen in America.

He told Cain the Democrat Party has been hijacked – and the hijackers have names.

"The Democratic Party is controlled by the loon wing," Kennedy said.

"And that doesn't mean they're all, Democrats, a member of the loon wing, but the loon wing's in control."

Kennedy named the people running the show: AOC, Bernie Sanders, and New York City socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Not Schumer.

Not Pelosi.

Not Biden.

The three radicals nobody voted for – but who somehow ended up calling the shots.

"The American people deserve to be governed by normal people, and these are not normal people," Kennedy said. "They're deeply weird, they're nauseously woke."

Kennedy Has Been Saying This for Years

Here's what the media won't tell you: Kennedy didn't just discover this on Tuesday.

He's been watching this hostile takeover since at least 2020, when he went on Fox News after the Democratic National Convention and said Bernie Sanders had "lifted this party up and moved it to the left so I hardly recognize it."

Back in October 2025, Kennedy delivered the same verdict from the Senate floor – calling the socialist wing "the loon wing" to their faces and warning that AOC, not Schumer, was actually running the Democrat caucus.

"I don't think Sen. Schumer is the person in charge," Kennedy told his colleagues that day, "because Sen. Schumer is not the leader of the socialist wing of his party."

The mainstream Democrats heard him.

They didn't do anything about it.

Yoga Mats and Gender at Recess

Kennedy wasn't done.

He told Cain exactly what this "loon wing" actually believes – and it wasn't abstract.

"They hyperventilate on their yoga mats if you use the wrong pronoun," Kennedy said. "They think our kids ought to be able to change genders at recess."

Then he went after their crime agenda: "They have a unique solution to the crime problem. They have a way to get crime down. It's just don't prosecute anybody."

The mainstream Democrats in the party know every word of this is true.

That's the problem.

"They know it's craziness," Kennedy said. "But they're scared because loon wing is in control."

He closed with the only honest assessment left: "They're crazy as a bed bug. Until they change, I don't think they're going to win a presidential election."

The Party They Built Has Eaten Them Alive

The numbers back Kennedy up completely.

A CNN poll from late March found only 28% of Americans view Democrats favorably – a historic low.

Just 32% view Republicans favorably, but the gap between the parties has widened to 20 points underwater for Democrats.

Nobody pays attention to the old guard anymore.

Kennedy said it plainly: "Nobody pays any attention to what Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, Schumer, or Jeffries says anymore. The leaders are Mamdani, Ocasio-Cortez, and Bernie Sanders."

This is what happens when a party lets its craziest members run the show for six straight years.

Now the motherboard is fried – Kennedy's words – and nobody left in the building knows how to fix it.
