Rank and file Democrat voters have been frustrated with the Party’s leadership since Kamala Harris went down in flames on November 5.
Chuck Schumer is skating on thin ice for supporting the GOP spending bill in order to avoid a government shutdown.
And John Kennedy just told Sean Hannity one fact about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that will keep Chuck Schumer up at night.
Chuck Schumer’s decision to back a Trump-supported spending bill last month led to calls for him to resign from his Senate leadership role.
Several Congressional Democrats, as well as the majority of the Party’s base, were furious with Schumer for not shutting down the government and fighting like hell against Donald Trump.
During an appearance Tuesday on CNN, Schumer claimed that “Democrats are united” and “are moving forward.”
“I’m feeling very good about the future in terms of how Democrats are united and having some real success,” he said.
Despite Schumer’s claim of unity, Democrats are more divided now than ever.
The far-Left wing of the Democrat Party is rallying behind radicals like Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez have been drawing thousands of disgruntled Democrats voters to their Fighting Oligarchy speaking tour.
At the rallies, Ocasio-Cortez has been calling on Democrat voters to “throw the bums out.”
“We, as a community, must choose and vote for Democrats and elected officials who know how to stand for the working class,” she said at one rally. “We’re gonna throw these bums out and fight for the nation we deserve,” she continued. “This isn’t just about Republicans.”
“We need a Democratic Party that fights harder for us, too,” she added.
Louisiana Senator John Kennedy is known for his straight-shooting southern wit and hilarious sense of humor.
Last month, Kennedy chimed in on the calls for Chuck Schumer to step aside after he allowed the Trump-supported spending bill to pass.
“He’s about as popular as chlamydia,” Kennedy said. “The loon wing of the Democratic Party is firmly in control.”
Kennedy recently appeared on Fox News Channel’s Hannity with a group of GOP Senators to discuss the MAGA agenda.
Hannity brought up the battle for leadership taking place right now in the Democrat Party.
“What do you think of the new leadership: Jasmine, AOC, and Bernie?” Hannity asked.
“I consider AOC to be the leader of the Democratic Party,” John Kennedy fired back. “I also think she’s the reason there are directions on a shampoo bottle.”
Kennedy then revealed the GOP’s strategy for dealing with Ocasio-Cortez.
“Our plan for dealing with her is called Operation Let Her Speak,” he said.

Of course, Chuck Schumer would not agree with Kennedy’s assessment that Ocasio-Cortez is the leader of the Democrat Party.
But Ocasio-Cortez certainly has Schumer on the edge of his seat.
Schumer is up for reelection in 2028.
And a recent survey by Data for Progress showed Ocasio-Cortez leading Schumer by 19 points in a hypothetical 2028 New York Primary for the U.S. Senate.
Ocasio-Cortez has brushed off questions about a potential Primary run against Schumer.
But everyone knows Ocasio-Cortez plans on seeking higher office.
The only question is whether she will run for the U.S. Senate or for the White House.
