Democrats are attacking Elon Musk to distract the public
Tesla CEO Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) notched the first massive victory of their auditing of the government.
DOGE uncovered massive amounts of wasteful spending at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
USAID was paying for transgender operas in South America, giving money to Palestinian terrorists, and funding left-wing media outlets in the United States and around the world.
President Donald Trump laid off 95% of USAID’s staff and temporarily shut down the agency.
The agency was funding left-wing causes all over the globe with taxpayer money.
Democrats were furious that their scam with USAID was blown up by Musk.
U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) argued that Democrats were attacking Musk as a distraction from the indefensible spending of USAID during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s The Story with Martha MacCallum.
“I was paying especially close attention to what the President had to say about reviewing spending,” Kennedy said. “I think it would be fair to say President Trump is dug in like a tick.”
Democrats are attacking Musk as being an unelected bureaucrat who’s illegally auditing the government.
Kennedy noted that it was Trump’s decision to delegate that authority to Musk.
“He’s going to continue. He ran on this issue and said ‘If I am elected President, I would review the spending.’ Now, I don’t know how you review the spending without reviewing the spending,” Kennedy explained. “No fair-minded person can doubt the President of the United States has the authority to review the spending in the Executive Branch. He has delegated that authority to Elon Musk.”
Democrats are panicking about what Elon Musk found
Kennedy pointed out that Democrats were attacking Musk and avoiding discussions of what he found at USAID.
“A lot of my Democratic colleagues and most of the members of the tofu crowd are very upset. They’re screaming like Musk stole their dog or something,” Kennedy stated. “But one thing they are not talking about is what Mr. Musk is finding. Just at the USAID, he found hundreds of millions, maybe billions of dollars’ worth of spending porn.”
The media has tried to dismiss Musk’s findings about USAID by falsely claiming they were misinformation.
Democrats would rather attack Musk and use him as a way to indirectly target Trump than discuss the woke spending at USAID.
They’ve tried to claim, without evidence, that the agency only engages in vital humanitarian work around the world.
Democrats and their fake news media allies want to expend precocious political capital defending USAID to the hilt.
Foreign aid is the most unpopular spending in the entire federal budget.
Defending USAID and its wasteful spending is a suckers bet for Democrats.
Elon Musk is going to give Democrats heartburn by going through the federal government’s spending with a fine tooth comb.
