And Joe Biden was left seething over this post-election court ruling.
Judge stops Biden’s amnesty scheme
Back in June, when Joe Biden was still the Democrat nominee for President, Biden announced a scheme to grant amnesty to 500,000 illegal aliens.
Biden imposed a power grab that shielded illegal aliens married to U.S. citizens from deportation.
A statement announcing the amnesty plan falsely claimed Biden “believes that securing the border is essential.”
But the statement also stated Biden “believes in expanding lawful pathways and keeping families together, and that immigrants who have been in the United States for decades, paying taxes and contributing to their communities, are part of the social fabric of our country.”
Biden threw this Hail Mary pass less than 10 days before the June 27 debate over the panic poll numbers showing Hispanic voters migrating to Donald Trump created.
This move showed Biden failed to learn the lesson of the 2012 election where Democrats incorrectly believed Barack Obama’s DACA amnesty scheme allowed him to win 71 percent of the Latino vote.
The reality was RINO Mitt Romney alienated Hispanics with support for endless wars and globalist trade deals.
America First Legal filed a lawsuit joined by 14 states suing the Biden-Kamala Harris administration over this amnesty betrayal.
And U.S. District Judge J. Campbell Barker issued an injunction blocking Biden’s amnesty parting gift.
“We just WON our lawsuit with Ken Paxton, Raul Labrador, and a coalition of 14 states. We have officially STOPPED the Biden-Harris Administration’s illegal attempt to grant mass amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens,” a statement from America First Legal after the ruling read.
America First Legal Executive Director Gene Hamilton said the victory stopped Joe Biden from creating another magnet to attract new waves of illegal aliens into America before he left office.
“Since day one, the Biden-Harris Administration has dedicated itself to the decimation of our immigration system and the erasure of our borders. Time and again, the States stood up,” said Hamilton.
“And today, the great State of Texas and the courageous Ken Paxton, alongside a coalition of other brave Attorneys General, succeeded in stopping an illegal program that would have provided amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens and paved the path for the largest administrative amnesty in American history. We are proud to stand alongside these patriots in defense of our great nation,” added Hamilton.
