The busy holiday travel season is quickly approaching.
It could be worse than ever because of one sinister scheme.

House Republicans are trying to stop a scheme from Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to use the country’s airports as temporary housing for tens of thousands of illegal aliens.
House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO), along with 70 House Republicans, are demanding that Buttigieg shelve a plan from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that would place 60,000 illegal aliens at four airports and other public facilities in New York and New Jersey.
New York City is being overwhelmed with an influx of illegal aliens that have pushed the city to the breaking point because of a law requiring that the city government provide them housing.
“These airports and their communities rightfully fear being transformed into larger versions of Chicago O’Hare International Airport, which has reportedly converted portions of its terminal into a shelter for hundreds of migrants,” the House Republicans wrote. “At a time when the Administration is proposing higher screening requirements on known airline crew members due to security risks, we are extremely concerned about the lack of regard for security risks posed by housing thousands of unknown persons at airports, many of which support passenger air service and host sensitive military facilities.”
The sanctuary city of Chicago sent more than 400 illegal aliens to one of the terminals of O’Hare International Airport.
The House Republicans said they were “deeply disturbed” that the Biden regime is planning on using airports as a dumping ground for illegal aliens.
They demanded that Buttigieg reveal the number of airports in the country that are currently being used for housing and if the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has signed off on any requests to turn airports into housing.
“To what extent has DHS consulted with the FAA about the appropriateness of proposing to house migrants at airports?” House Republicans asked. “If DHS has consulted with the FAA, what has been the FAA’s response?”
President Joe Biden’s border crisis has seen more than six million illegal aliens, greater than the population of 31 states, cross into the country.
Cities and states are being crushed by the growing number of illegal aliens, so the Biden regime is looking to turn airports into migrant camps.
Air travel has become a nightmare under Buttigieg’s watch, with an increasing number of flight delays and cancellations.
