But Jasmine Crockett revealed one secret about her career that shows why Donald Trump banned DEI hiring.
America was founded on the traditional values of hard work, personal responsibility, and limited government.
For most of America’s history, people were hired and promoted based on skill and competence.
But that changed when the Democrats started pushing the Left’s woke ideology across society.
The Left’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies are based in Marxism and seek to equalize outcomes based on race, gender, age, and sexual orientation instead of merit.
“The DEI movement became a focus of American cultural wars in 2020 following the death of George Floyd, which sparked a national conversation about race as well as riots that went on for months,” Fox Business reported. “Such programs became commonplace across American government, academia and workplaces.”
Donald Trump ended the federal government’s DEI hiring policies on Day One of his second term.
“Federal hiring, promotions, and performance reviews will reward individual initiative, skills, performance, and hard work and not, under any circumstances, DEI-related factors, goals, policies, mandates, or requirements,” a White House fact sheet read.
DEI hiring practices hamper economic progress and make society worse.
Instead of the best and brightest individuals, DEI policies prioritize race, gender, and sexual orientation above merit.
This leads to a drop in the quality of goods and services.
Of course, Democrats refuse to admit this fact.
They claim DEI policies are necessary due to the alleged racism and sexism in America.
But Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) recently showed how destructive DEI policies are.
Jasmine Crockett is emerging as the new face of the Democrat Party.
She’s been in the spotlight several times lately due to her outrageous and controversial comments.
Crockett called for attacks against Elon Musk and ridiculed Texas Governor Greg Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels” due to his use of a wheelchair.
She’s one of the biggest supporters of DEI policies in the Democrat Party.
Crockett previously ranted about how she allegedly had to work harder than her white colleagues like Marjorie Greene and Lauren Boebert.
“When I walk into Congress every single day, you know why I don’t feel away and why you can’t make me doubt who I am is because I know that I had to work 10 times as hard as they did just to get into the seat,” she said. “When you look and you compare me to Marjorie Taylor Greene or me to Lauren Boebert, there is no comparison.”
But Crockett slipped up and admitted the truth during a House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight meeting on Wednesday.
Crockett bragged about how she got her first job as a public defender solely because of her skin color.
“When I first became a public defender, I had no criminal defense experience, and I walked in, and I told my boss, Charlie, I said, ‘Listen, you should hire me,’” Crockett said. “He said, ‘Why?’ I said, ‘Because I’m black.’”
“Charlie looked at me like I was crazy,” Crockett said, before adding that “Charlie offered me the job.”
