Jasmine Crockett Issued One Challenge That Backfired In Spectacular Fashion

Dec 14, 2025

Charlie Kirk's assassination in September sent shockwaves through the conservative movement and exposed the ugliest side of left-wing rhetoric.

For months, Democrats claimed they bore no responsibility for the climate of political violence in America.

But Jasmine Crockett just handed Republicans proof on a silver platter that Democrats have been lying all along.

Texas Democrat's Challenge Comes Back To Haunt Her

Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett announced her Senate run this past week with all the fanfare of a candidate who thinks she's already won.

Fresh off launching her campaign, Crockett sat down with The Breakfast Club radio show in October—just weeks after Kirk's murder—and made a challenge she clearly thought was safe.

"I challenge somebody to go and find a clip of a Democrat invoking violence," Crockett declared with the confidence of someone who apparently doesn't know how the internet works.¹

The GOP accepted that challenge on Wednesday.

And the video they released is absolutely devastating.

Twenty Examples Of Democrats Calling For Violence

Republicans compiled a supercut video featuring 20 separate instances of prominent Democrats using violent rhetoric against their political opponents.

The examples span years and include some of the biggest names in the Democrat Party.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries promising to "fight it in the courts" and "fight it in the streets."²

Representative Eric Swalwell vowing "when they go low, we're going to bury them below the Capitol."²

Representative Ayanna Pressley—one of the 58 Democrats who voted against condemning Kirk's assassination—declaring "there needs to be unrest in the streets as long as there's unrest in our lives."²

California Governor Gavin Newsom snarling "we're going to punch these sons of bitches in the mouth."²

Representative Derek Tran telling Democrats to "fight back, punch back and make sure they stay down, and you know what, kick them when they're down."²

But the most damaging clips feature Crockett herself.

Crockett's Own Words Destroy Her Argument

The GOP video includes multiple instances of Crockett using violent language against Republicans.

In a March interview, Crockett said winning in Texas requires being willing to punch: "You punch. I think you punch. I think you're OK with—you OK with punching."³

She went even further discussing how to beat Senator Ted Cruz, saying Democrats need to knock Cruz "over the head, like, hard, right. Like, there is no niceties with him—like, at all. Like, you go clean off on him."³

At an August press conference, Crockett escalated her rhetoric: "Not only are we gonna punch back, but we about to beat you down."²

These aren't theoretical policy disagreements or passionate political debate.

This is explicit violent imagery directed at political opponents.

And Crockett apparently forgot she said all of it when she issued her challenge.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has been working behind the scenes for months to encourage Crockett's Senate run, believing she would be the easiest Democrat to defeat.⁴

Now it's clear why Republicans wanted her in the race.

Crockett's track record includes calling Governor Greg Abbott—who uses a wheelchair—"Governor Hot Wheels," comparing ICE agents to "slave patrols," and accusing Latino Trump voters of having a "slave mentality."⁵

She's characterized Republican voters as stupid, mocked the handicapped, and labeled Trump "an enemy to the United States."³

This is the candidate Democrats think can flip Texas blue.

Democrats Cannot Run From Their Rhetoric

For years, Democrats and their media allies blamed every act of political violence on conservative rhetoric.

They claimed Trump's words were "dangerous" and "incitement."

Meanwhile, they spent those same years calling for resistance, for fighting in the streets, for making Republicans uncomfortable everywhere they go.

When a Bernie Sanders supporter opened fire on Republican lawmakers at a congressional baseball practice in 2017, Democrats dismissed any connection to their rhetoric.

When protesters showed up at Supreme Court justices' homes after the Dobbs decision—and one man was arrested near Justice Kavanaugh's house with plans to assassinate him—Democrats said that was just passionate activism.

After Kirk's assassination, Democrats immediately pivoted to blaming Republicans for creating a "climate of violence."

MSNBC's Jen Psaki accused Trump of "escalating tensions" in his video addressing Kirk's death.⁶

CNN hosts asked Republicans if they would "reflect on how their own rhetoric may be contributing to political violence."⁶

Senator Elizabeth Warren became defensive when asked if Democrats should tone down their rhetoric, responding "Oh, please. Why don't you start with the president of the United States?"⁶

The pattern is obvious to anyone paying attention.

Democrats spent years demonizing conservatives as Nazis, fascists, and threats to democracy who must be "eliminated."

Representative Dan Goldman literally said Trump "has to be eliminated" before quickly apologizing and claiming it was a "poor choice of words."⁷

President Biden told donors it was "time to put Trump in the bulls-eye."⁷

When violence inevitably follows this kind of rhetoric, Democrats refuse to accept any responsibility.

They demand Republicans apologize for existing while they continue ramping up their attacks.

Crockett's challenge to find Democrats inciting violence wasn't a genuine question.

It was an attempt to gaslight the American people into forgetting what they've seen with their own eyes for years.

The GOP's video response doesn't just answer Crockett's challenge.

It exposes the fundamental dishonesty at the core of Democrats' entire narrative about political violence in America.

Voters in Texas—and across the country—deserve to know exactly who Democrats are and what they've been saying when they think no one's keeping receipts.
