Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is the new leader of the far-Left wing of the Democrat Party.
She claims Trump’s opposition to DEI policies is rooted in racism.
But Jasmine Crockett just saw one set of numbers about Donald Trump’s tariffs that left her fuming.
Donald Trump sent the markets into chaos last week when he announced his plan to stop other countries from “taking advantage” of the United States through reciprocal tariffs.
The tariffs take effect on April 9 and are designed to offset the massive trade imbalance that the United States has with other nations.
Examples include a 34% discounted reciprocal tariff on China, a 20% tariff on the European Union, and a 46% tariff on Vietnam.
Even though the tariffs haven’t even taken effect, Democrats and the left-wing media are pushing a narrative of impending economic doom.
Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett emerged as one of the new leaders of the far-Left opposition to Donald Trump in his second term.
Crockett has been in the spotlight recently due to a string of controversial and over-the-top remarks.
She called for “Elon to be taken down” during a virtual rally for the Tesla Takedown movement.

During a recent speech at the 2025 Human Rights Campaign dinner, Crockett mocked Governor Greg Abbott – who uses a wheelchair – as “Governor Hot Wheels.”
“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there,” Crockett said.

She then went on the popular podcast for Democrats, The Breakfast Club, where she attacked Congressman Byron Donalds, who is black (R-FL), for marrying a white woman.
“Some of our skin folk who definitely are not our kin folk, such as Byron Donalds,” she said. “Like, I mean, the fact that you sitting around talking about life was better under Jim Crow, like, is this because you don’t understand history, or literally it’s because you married a white woman?” she continued. “And so you think that that whitewashed you?”

Crockett frequently accuses Donald Trump and his supporters of being a bunch of evil racists.
But this claim doesn’t match reality.
A brand new poll from The Daily Mail found Donald Trump’s support among black voters increased by 17 points in a single week.
“President Donald Trump is more popular now than before he sent the global markets into a frenzy by enacting sweeping new tariffs,” The Daily Mail reported.
The poll showed Trump’s overall approval rating soared to 53%, which is four points higher than the previous week.
“Trump’s rising approval rating is surprising given the flak the White House has received over the tariff order signed Wednesday,” The Daily Mail reported. “The Republican’s support among black voters skyrocketed 17 points since last week, the poll found.”
Only time will tell if Trump’s tariff plan is successful.
But there’s no denying the fact that he is making massive inroads with black voters.
Trump won the support of 21% of black men in the last election.
Black voters are growing increasingly fed up with Democrats using them as political pawns.
And they’ve been shifting more and more to the GOP under Donald Trump’s leadership.
