Carville launches vulgar tirade against Trump and the media
Democrat strategist James Carville has built his career on being a loud mouth who makes outrageous claims to get attention.
But his latest meltdown on the "Politicon" podcast Thursday reached a new low even for him.
Carville launched into a profanity-laced tirade where he attacked President Donald Trump’s mental health and accused the media of failing to do their jobs.
"What’s happening right now is a guy is…very well [we have] reason to believe — we need some answers — could have a really diseased mental capacity above and beyond just the normal effects of aging and what comes with that. We’re not being served by sitting here silently," Carville ranted.
The 80-year-old Democrat operative didn’t stop there.
Carville demanded that reporters investigate Trump’s health, claiming without evidence that the President suffers from some kind of mental deterioration.
"Have people look at his slurred language. Have people look at the deterioration that’s going on right now and the madness and the corruption and all of the other s*** that’s going on," Carville continued.
Carville pushes conspiracy theories about Trump’s health
This isn’t the first time Carville has made wild claims about Trump’s health.
The Democrat strategist previously pushed a conspiracy theory suggesting Trump has "secondary syphilis" after a viral photo showed red sores on his hand.
The authenticity of that image remains unclear, but that didn’t stop Carville from spreading the unsubstantiated claim.
Now Carville is doubling down on his attacks, urging the media to investigate Trump’s health based on nothing more than his own partisan hatred.
"And don’t worry about having a panel discussion about …’What are they going to do?’ Look at what’s right in front of you, what’s right in front of you," Carville said.
He claimed that Trump’s alleged mental state could lead to disastrous consequences for the country.
"And I think there is sufficient reason to marshal resources and, together, to see what the hell’s going on here,” Carville raged. “They have a lot of consequences, a lot of long-term consequence."
Trump focuses on governing while Carville rants
While Carville was busy making unhinged attacks and spreading conspiracy theories, President Trump was focused on the business of governing America.
Trump has been working to secure the border, strengthen the economy, and restore American leadership on the world stage.
The President has also been dealing with complex international issues, including ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Trump has made it clear that he won’t allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons, while also working to avoid unnecessary military conflicts.
Democrats resort to personal attacks when they can’t win on policy
Carville’s latest meltdown is just the latest example of Democrats resorting to personal attacks when they can’t win on the issues.
Rather than engage with Trump’s policies on the border, the economy, or foreign affairs, Carville chooses to spread conspiracy theories about the President’s health.
This is the same playbook Democrats used throughout Trump’s first term and during the 2024 campaign.
When they couldn’t defeat Trump at the ballot box, they tried to remove him through impeachment.
When that failed, they tried to prosecute him in court.
And when that backfired and helped Trump win in a landslide, they’re now trying to claim he’s mentally unfit.
The American people saw through these tactics in November when they delivered Trump a decisive victory over Kamala Harris.
James Carville has been considered one of the most influential Democrat strategists in the country for decades.
He helped Bill Clinton win the presidency in 1992 and was known for his political savvy.
The “Ragin’ Cajun” as the Louisiana native is nicknamed, has long been known for his intense and vulgarity-laced rants but spreading baseless conspiracy theories about Trump along with them only hurts his credibility.
The American people have repeatedly rejected the Democrat Party’s attempts to demonize Trump.
They elected him in 2016, they re-elected him in 2024, and his approval ratings remain strong despite constant attacks from people like Carville.
