James Carville Just Admitted Democrats’ Terrifying Plan to Destroy the Supreme Court

Nov 12, 2025

Democrats got drunk on a few off-year election wins and let slip what they really plan to do.

One aging political operative couldn't keep his mouth shut.

And James Carville just admitted Democrats' terrifying plan to destroy the Supreme Court.

Democrats celebrated victories in Virginia, New Jersey, New York, and California like they'd just won World War III. A few blue states voting blue in an off-year election sent them into such euphoria that they started saying the quiet part out loud.

Turns out winning a handful of predictable races was all it took for the Left to reveal their real agenda.

And veteran Democrat strategist James Carville laid out the whole scheme in disturbing detail.

Carville guarantees Democrats will pack the Court in 2028

Carville told his podcast listeners he'd "bet a lot of money" that Democrats will win the White House in 2028 and immediately move to pack the Supreme Court.¹

"I'm going to tell you what's going to happen. A Democrat is going to be elected in 2028. You know that. I know that," Carville declared.² "The Democratic president is going to announce a special transition advisory committee on the reform of the Supreme Court."²

He spelled out the playbook step by step. The incoming Democrat president would create what Carville called a "blue ribbon panel of distinguished jurists" to recommend expanding the Court from nine to thirteen justices.²

Then a Democrat-controlled Senate and House would ram it through. Problem solved. Democracy destroyed. All perfectly legal in their twisted view.

"That's going to happen, people," Carville said.² "They're going to win. They're going to do some blue ribbon panel of distinguished jurists, and they are going to recommend 13, and a Democratic Senate and House is going to pass it, and the Democratic president is going to sign it."²

The remarkable part? Carville's track record on predictions is worse than a coin flip. He guaranteed Kamala Harris would win in 2024, writing an essay for The New York Times titled "Three Reasons I'm Certain Kamala Harris Will Win."³

America elected Donald Trump in a landslide instead.

Carville had to admit in January he was "wrong" about the 2024 election.³ But that humiliating failure hasn't stopped him from making bold predictions about 2028.

As PJ Media pointed out, the man is the Jim Cramer of politics. Wrong constantly, but never stops making confident declarations.

FDR tried court-packing and it destroyed his Presidency

Here's what Carville and his fellow Democrats won't tell you: this scheme has been tried before and it failed spectacularly.

Franklin Roosevelt proposed expanding the Supreme Court to fifteen justices in 1937 after the Court struck down key pieces of his New Deal legislation.⁴ He wanted to add one new justice for every sitting justice over age 70.⁴

The American people saw right through it. Both Republicans and Democrats in Congress revolted. Even FDR's own Vice President opposed the plan.⁵

The Senate Judiciary Committee issued a scathing report calling Roosevelt's proposal "a needless, futile and utterly dangerous abandonment of constitutional principle."⁵ By July 1937, the Senate had killed the bill 70-22.⁶

Roosevelt lost massive political capital over the court-packing scheme. An anti-New Deal coalition formed in Congress that blocked his legislative agenda for the rest of his presidency.⁷

The backlash was so severe that no president has attempted to change the Court's size in the 88 years since.⁴

Democrats learned nothing from history

Carville and the radical Left apparently skipped that history lesson.

They're so desperate to seize permanent power that they're willing to destroy the one institution designed to check government overreach. Once they pack the Court with political activists, there's no going back.

Republicans would feel pressured to expand it further the next time they control Washington. Then Democrats would add even more justices. The cycle never ends.

Pretty soon you've got a 25-member Supreme Court that changes every election. The Court loses all legitimacy. The Constitution becomes meaningless. Government by judicial decree replaces the rule of law.

That's not speculation. That's exactly what Biden's own commission warned when they studied court-packing in 2021.² The commission concluded any court expansion would trigger "an endless cycle of court expansions for political purposes."⁸

But Carville doesn't care about consequences. This is about seizing power and never giving it back. Not justice. Not the Constitution. Just raw political control.

The only thing standing between Democrats and their court-packing scheme is the 2026 and 2028 elections. If Republicans lose control of Congress and the White House, Carville's blueprint becomes reality.

And once Democrats pack the Court, they'll ram through every radical policy Americans have rejected at the ballot box for decades. Unrestricted abortion up to birth. Gun confiscation. Open borders made permanent. Free speech crushed. Religious liberty destroyed.

All rubber-stamped by a Supreme Court packed with left-wing activists who owe their seats to the Democrats who put them there.

This is what they've been planning all along.
