Aside from Fox News, Democrats have the corporate-controlled media on lockdown.
The nightly news has turned into one long Democrat Party infomercial.
That’s why Jake Tapper just made one claim about his political views that will leave you speechless.
Americans used to trust the corporate-controlled media to tell the truth.
During the 1970s, Gallup polls consistently showed public trust in the media to “[report] the news fully, accurately and fairly” ranged from 68% to 72% of Americans.
Today, only 31% of respondents trust the media either “a great deal” or “a fair amount” while 36% said they don’t trust the media “at all.”
This is the lowest level in five decades.
Of course, public trust in the media is at an all-time low for a reason.
The corporate-controlled media has always been in the back pocket of the Democrat Party, but Donald Trump’s entry into politics exposed this unfortunate truth to the American people.
The media spent the past nine years smearing Donald Trump in an effort to force him out of politics.
But one of the biggest Democrat Party mouthpieces in the media refuses to admit that he is on the political Left.
CNN’s Jake Tapper has been one of the biggest spreaders of lies about Donald Trump in the media.
Trump Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins recently appeared for an interview with Tapper on CNN’s State of the Union to discuss the new reciprocal tariffs.
“So how long do you anticipate this tariff chaos is going to be going on?” Tapper asked. “30 days, 60 days, 90 days?”
“Well, first of all, Jake, thank you for having me,” Rollins said. “I think it’s really important to realize that last Wednesday was when the president announced this new American order, the new American economic plan,” she continued. “We’re now two days in, right – you’ve got two days of data.”
Rollins then referenced how “everyone, especially on your side — on the Left — is freaking out.”
But Tapper took issue with being labeled a leftist.
“I’m not on the Left,” Tapper responded.
“But at the end of the day, listen, this whole concept — all right, Jake, thank you,” Rollins said while holding back laughter. “This whole concept is about rebuilding an American economy around American goods, around American industry,” she continued. “We do already live under a tariff regime in this country, but it’s the tariff regime of China, of Mexico, of Brazil, of Australia, of countries that — Mexico won’t take our corn, Australia won’t take our beef.”

Jake Tapper’s claim that he is “not on the Left” is demonstrably false.
Before his time in the media, Tapper served as press secretary for Democrat Congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky.
He served as the spokesman for Handgun Control and even named the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
Tapper worked as a senior writer at the far-Left Washington City Paper and as the Washington correspondent for the leftist website Salon.
Jake Tapper is about as left-wing as they come.
