Democrats like to claim they are the party of democracy.
That’s been proven a lie once and for all.
And J.D. Vance called out Kamala Harris for this sinister attack on democracy.
J.D. Vance uses podcast appearance to slam Democrats as hypocrites on democracy
Vance appeared on the popular Full Send podcast hosted by the Nelk boys.
One of the show’s co-hosts, Bradley Martyn, asked Vance about how Democrats can claim to be the party of democracy when a handful of elites just shredded the votes of 14,000,000 Democrats and booted Joe Biden off the ticket and installed Kamala Harris as the nominee.
“They sit on the side, and they say, ‘Donald Trump is against democracy,’ but they’re also now – they held [Biden] long enough to pass up where they could actually vote for a new kind of like nominee, and then they just picked who they wanted,” Martyn said.
“So there’s actually no democracy in that,” Martyn added.
Vance agreed.
“Not at all,” Vance stated.
Vance noted that Kamala Harris never received one vote for President in her life by a single Democrat Party primary voter.
“Fourteen million people voted for [Biden] to be the nominee of the Democrat Party. How many people have voted for Kamala Harris to be the nominee of the Democrat Party? Zero. Not a single person,” Vance stated.
Harris ended her embarrassing 2020 campaign months before Iowa and now just parachuted in to the top of the ticket on the say-so of party bosses.
Vance compared that to Donald Trump, who is the most popular person in the Republican Party and who earned the democratic legitimacy of the nomination by running in the primary and racking up a resounding victory.
“Trump is the most popular person in the party. He still ran through the primary process because that’s what you have to do; you have to persuade voters that you’re the guy. That’s kind of how the system works,” Vance added.
Kamala Harris’ shady nomination
Vance explained to the hosts that a cabal of Democrat Party power brokers got together in backrooms and voided the results of the primaries just because they didn’t think Biden could win.
“Look, basically what happened is Barack Obama, the Clinton family, and a few billionaires got in a room together and said, ‘Hey this guy’s political deadweight. Let’s throw him overboard,’” Vance continued.
“That’s really creepy if you think about it,” Vance said.
Vance said this coup was a frightening commentary on who really wields the power in America because unelected elites can just veto the results of an election if they don’t like the results.
“But then you realize he’s the president of the United States, and it kind of makes you question, what is the real power center in this country if a few billionaires and a few unelected officials can throw the president overboard,” he added.
Vance closed out by inviting Democrats who actually care about democracy to vote for him and Donald Trump.
“You may not agree with us on everything, but at least in our party, we believe you should have to persuade people, not try to run this corrupt process in the background,” Vance concluded.
