Democrats agree with J.D. Vance in condemning Ilhan Omar’s racist comments
Anti-white racism is an animating ideology of the woke left.
This bigotry is one reason Tulsi Gabbard left the Democrat Party.
Ilham Omar gave voice to this prejudice in an interview with Al Jazeera from 2018 that recently resurfaced online.
Omar expressed the thoughts that gradually became the dominant mindset on the left that white men – i.e. Trump supporters – were the number one domestic terrorist threat in America.
“Our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country,” Omar stated.
Omar called for racial profiling and government spying on white men, saying, “We should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men.”
Joe Biden eventually put these words into official policy when he had the FBI target parents that protested at school board meetings and ordered the Pentagon to root out “domestic extremists.

Vice President J.D. Vance condemned Omar’s comments as “genocidal language” and blasted the Minnesota Congresswoman as a “disgrace.”
“This isn’t just sick; it’s actually genocidal language. What a disgrace this person is,” Vance wrote on X.
Omar tried to clap back claiming that since the clip was from 2018 her words didn’t actually matter and cited the left-wing Anti-Defamation League as her backup.
“In this nearly 8yr old clip, I am referring to the rise of white nationalism in an annual report issued by the Anti-Defamation League that said white supremacists were responsible for 78 percent of “extremist-related murders,” Omar wrote.
But it wasn’t just Republicans taking issue with Omar’s comments.

Democrat strategist James Carville spoke at the Sir Harry Evans Investigative Journalism Summit in London and also condemned Omar’s comments.
Carville said white men made up around 33 percent of the electorate and that if Democrats ever want to win elections again, smearing one third of the voters as domestic terrorists is a really bad idea.
“Ilhan Omar says that white men are responsible for most of the deaths in the United States. So let me get this straight: 69% of the people — why I’m stuck on that number, I don’t know, but 69% of the people going to vote are white. Of that, 48.5 are males. So, I don’t know, my rough math is 33 percent?” Carville began.
Carville then said that Democrats might be better off purging Omar and the woke mob from the party as their demented ideology costs more votes than they bring in.
“That’s a lot of pissed off 33% of people that vote, and that’s a smart strategy? And there are people that agree with her! There are people that actually agree with her! And I think it’s — honestly, I think these people are more trouble than they’re worth,” Carville concluded.
