Trump supporters watched Nancy Pelosi’s January 6th Committee destroy thousands of American lives with no consequences.
Democrats thought they could escape accountability forever.
But Harmeet Dhillon just dropped one bombshell that has J6 Committee members losing sleep.
Trump's DOJ Promises Justice Is Coming
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon sent shockwaves through Washington, D.C. with a message that terrified Democrats who thought five years would protect them from prosecution.
Conservative influencer Gunther Eagleman warned Attorney General Pam Bondi that the statute of limitations on J6 Committee crimes would expire on January 6, 2026.
"Please do not let the statute of limitations run out on the J6 committee criminals, there are only 12 more days," Eagleman posted on X.¹ "They all need to be held accountable for the treason they committed."
Dhillon fired back with a declaration that sent Democrat operatives into panic mode.
"Trump/Bondi DOJ is working to bring to justice those who weaponized January 6th, 2021," Dhillon responded.² "No statute of limitations will hinder DOJ's efforts to bring justice to those who weaponized persecution of American citizens. January 6th 2026 is NOT a deadline for DOJ to bring prosecutions."
The message was crystal clear: Trump's Department of Justice isn't going to let technicalities protect those who destroyed innocent Americans' lives through partisan persecution.
"My boss Pam Bondi works around the clock to bring justice for all Americans!" Dhillon continued.³ "Don't be a hater and simp for weaponized online disinformation!!"
Democrats spread panic about the statute of limitations deadline because they wanted Trump supporters to give up hope that accountability would ever come.
Dhillon just destroyed that narrative and confirmed what Trump supporters have known all along: justice is finally on the way.
The January 6th Committee's Campaign of Destruction
The January 6th Committee conducted an 18-month witch hunt that had nothing to do with finding truth and everything to do with destroying Donald Trump's political future.
Democrats like Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson ran a kangaroo court without bipartisan oversight, selectively edited evidence to paint the worst possible picture, and failed to preserve key records.
House Republicans discovered that the committee deleted or password-protected over one hundred files, including some wiped just days before Republicans took the majority in 2022.⁴
The committee hid transcribed interviews from witnesses who had firsthand knowledge of Trump's actions on January 6th.
Democrats refused to examine the real security failures at the Capitol, including why congressional leadership turned down President Trump's offer to deploy 10,000 National Guard troops.
Federal prosecutors coordinated with the committee to use expanded legal theories against defendants, including non-violent individuals who simply walked through the Capitol.
Prosecutors imposed prolonged pre-trial detention that destroyed defendants' jobs, marriages, and mental health before they ever saw a judge.
The Department of Justice treated January 6th as the basis for sweeping surveillance and prosecutions that classified political protest as domestic terrorism.
This persecution destroyed thousands of American lives.
Many defendants fell into depression, lost their jobs and savings, developed serious health problems, and some even took their own lives.
Democrats thought they could walk away from this destruction without facing any consequences for their actions.
Harmeet Dhillon just told them to think again.
Trump Administration Sets The Record Straight
Dhillon's statement revealed something Democrats desperately tried to hide: certain crimes have no statute of limitations under federal law.
While general federal crimes face a five-year statute of limitations, terrorism, treason, and other serious crimes have no time limits whatsoever.
The J6 Committee coordinated with federal agencies to weaponize the justice system against American citizens for exercising their First Amendment rights.
That's not a simple procedural violation that expires after five years.
Congressional Democrats violated their oath of office by conducting a partisan show trial that destroyed evidence, suppressed exculpatory information, and coordinated with prosecutors to jail political opponents.
Liz Cheney faces accusations of witness tampering for secretly communicating with star witness Cassidy Hutchinson without her attorney's knowledge.⁵
The committee deleted crucial evidence and hid materials that would have contradicted their narrative about Trump's actions.
Trump supporters spent years watching Democrats claim nobody would face accountability because too much time had passed.
Harmeet Dhillon just proved that was always a lie designed to demoralize Trump's base and protect Democrat criminals.
The Trump administration is building cases right now against those who weaponized January 6th to persecute innocent Americans.
Democrats thought they were untouchable because five years would pass before Trump returned to power.
They were dead wrong, and now they're about to learn that no amount of time will save them from justice.
