Fox News warned Donald Trump is doomed to defeat if he makes one fatal mistake

Feb 29, 2024

Donald Trump is up in the polls.

But victory isn’t assured at all.

And now Fox News warned Donald Trump is doomed to defeat if he makes one fatal mistake.

Fox News host warns Trump to ignore conservatives

Fox and Friends used to be Donald Trump’s go-to show.

In many ways, the show helped make Trump, and Trump’s weekly guest spot helped build his name with conservatives prior to his 2016 Presidential campaign.

Now, Trump has a more complicated relationship.

Co-host Steve Doocy is someone eager to constantly hit Trump from the Left.

And fellow co-host Brian Kilmeade is never shy about saying he sides with the Liz Cheney wing of the Republican Party on foreign policy.

Now Kilmeade is telling Trump that if he wants to win the election, he needs to ignore ‘extremists’ like Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz and War Room podcast host Steve Bannon.

“I think both candidates have to realize this, that if on the left, if Joe Biden listens to the squad, he loses. And I think if Donald Trump listens to Matt Gaetz and Steve Bannon, he loses. They have to understand that most of the people are not on the extremes, and that if you can understand that you are going to win. The first one to understand that, and does what they think they should do, and not what the extremists are bullying them to do, is going to be successful,” Kilmeade declared.

Polls show Trump leading Biden

Polls currently show Trump leading Joe Biden.

The Harvard-Harris poll showed a 16-point swing towards Trump from its February 2020 poll, thanks to Independents abandoning Joe Biden in droves.

Fox News’ gameplan comes into focus

Why would Kilmeade be telling Trump to ignore conservatives if Trump running on an America first message has him handily ahead of Joe Biden?

Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch wanted the GOP to be done with Trump following the disappointing 2022 Midterm election.

The network booked Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for more than 100 guest spots during a seven-month period where executives banned Trump from appearing on the air.

But as the Primary marched along, it became apparent that Republican voters wanted Donald Trump as the nominee.

Murdoch and Fox adopted a new strategy of dealing with Trump.

Instead of trying to stop Trump, the network would try and shape a second Trump administration.

Murdoch strongly supports the war in Ukraine and backs amnesty for illegal aliens.

As it became clear Trump was going to win the Primary, Fox hosts began promoting South Carolina Senator Tim Scott – a favorite of the GOP establishment – for Vice President.

Add to that, one of Trump’s favorite programs is begging him to ignore his base and move to the middle, and it’s clear how Fox is fighting for the Mitch McConnell wing of the Republican Party to remain in control.
