Tensions are clearly rising as America heads towards the conclusion of the 2024 Election.
Look no further than what just happened on air at Fox News.
And the Fox News set erupted in chaos because of what Jesse Watters just said.
A controversial television ad
The Kamala Harris campaign believes its path to victory rests with running up huge numbers with female voters.
That included winning over a significant number of Republican women who may support abortion or like the idea of a woman President.
A group called Vote for the Common Good produced an insane ad commercial narrated by Hollywood megastar Julia Roberts which portrays Republican women as living in fear of their Trump supporting husbands beating them if they openly support Kamala Harris.
The commercial claims it’s safe for these Republican women to vote for Kamala because the ballot’s secret and their husbands will never know who they voted for.
In the voting booth, women still have the right to choose. New and important ad from @VoteCommon featuring Julia Roberts reminds women that no one will know who they voted for. Pass it on. pic.twitter.com/XALnryVPNm

This ad was gross.
And this commercial was also the subject of a segment on Fox News Channel’s The Five that quickly went off the rails.
Jesse Watters claimed he would consider his wife voting for Kamala Harris the equivalent of sleeping with another man.
“If I found out Emma was going to the voting booth and pulling the lever for Harris, that’s the same thing as having an affair,” Watters declared.
The other co-hosts couldn’t believe what they heard.
The Five goes off the rails
“Oh, my god,” Harold Ford Jr. exclaimed.
Others wanted to give Watters the benefit of the doubt.
“Let him finish,” former WWE pro wrestler Tyrus stated.
Watters said he would consider his wife lying to him about who she supported a betrayal because it would lead him to question her truthfulness in other matters.
“That violates the sanctity of our marriage. What else is she keeping from me? What is she lying about?” Watters responded.
“Why would she lie to you?” Judge Jeanine Pirro wondered.
“Why would she do that and vote Harris? Why would she say she was voting… If I caught her and she said ‘I lied to you for the last four years,’” Watters answered.
Pirro was taken aback.
“So, you’d admit you’d intimidate…” Pirro started to say before Watters cut her off to make sure everyone knew he was just joking around.
“It’s over, Emma!” Watters sarcastically declared. “That would be D-Day!”
“This segment is over!” Dana Perino added.
Watters played the segment up for laughs because he wanted to show how unhealthy and deranged the theme of the commercial was that Vote for Common Good produced.
Democrats treat politics like its religion and the be all, end all.
It’s a sick outlook on human interactions and the role politics plays in everyday life.
