The radical Left has completely lost touch with reality.
Democrats are openly defending violent rioters while attacking law and order.
And Failed Presidential candidate Cory Booker made one outrageous claim about immigration riots that left Americans furious.
Booker defends violent rioters on national television
Chaos erupted in Los Angeles after President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement actions sparked widespread protests across the city.
The situation quickly spiraled out of control as rioters began burning cars and waving Mexican flags in the streets.
Local law enforcement was overwhelmed by the violence and destruction.
That’s when President Trump made the decision to deploy the National Guard to restore order and protect innocent Americans.
But instead of praising Trump for taking decisive action to stop the violence, Democrat Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) went on NBC’s Meet the Press and defended the rioters.
Booker actually had the nerve to criticize Trump for sending in the National Guard to stop the mayhem.
“Look, since years before I was born, law enforcement knows it’s good when there’s cooperation and coordination,” Booker said.
“For the president to do this, when it wasn’t requested, breaking with generations of tradition, is only going to incite the situation and make things worse,” Booker added.
The New Jersey Senator claimed that Trump’s decision to deploy federal troops would somehow make the situation more dangerous.
This is completely backwards thinking from a sitting U.S. Senator.
When rioters are burning cars and terrorizing innocent people, the appropriate response is to send in law enforcement to restore order.
Booker tries to rewrite history about January 6
But Booker wasn’t done making outrageous statements.
The Democrat Senator then tried to draw a comparison between the Los Angeles riots and the January 6, 2021 Capitol incident.
“We are now at a point where we have a president who sat back and did nothing as people stormed our Capitol, viciously beat police and then, when those people who viciously beat police and led to some of their deaths, therefore cop killers, were convicted by juries, he then pardoned them all,” Booker claimed.
This is a complete distortion of what actually happened on January 6.
Trump called for peaceful protests and told people to go home when things got out of hand.
And it was Trump who actually called for the National Guard on January 6 but then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) failed to bring them to the Capitol – a fact she admitted to on camera.
The Democrats have been pushing their January 6 narrative for years now, but the American people aren’t buying it anymore.
That’s exactly why Trump won a landslide victory in 2024.
Booker is trying to use January 6 as a weapon against Trump while simultaneously defending actual rioters who are burning cars and destroying property.
Democrats show their true colors
Cory Booker’s appearance on Meet the Press revealed everything Americans need to know about the modern Democrat Party.
They will defend violent rioters who are destroying American cities.
But they will attack a President who is trying to restore law and order.
This is exactly why the Democrat Party got crushed in the 2024 election.
Americans are tired of Democrats making excuses for criminals and rioters.
They want leaders who will stand up for law-abiding citizens and protect their communities.
President Trump deployed the National Guard because local officials in Los Angeles failed to control the situation.
When rioters are burning cars and waving foreign flags on American soil, that’s not peaceful protest.
That’s an attack on America itself.
Booker’s claim that Trump shouldn’t have sent in the National Guard is absolutely ridiculous.
It’s the President’s job to protect American citizens from violence and lawlessness.
Meanwhile, on MSNBC, Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA) had her own “mostly peaceful protests” moment, actually insisting the LAPD had things under control even as the far left network showed burning vehicles on screen.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer
The choice facing America is crystal clear.
On one side, you have President Trump who is willing to take decisive action to protect Americans from violent rioters.
On the other side, you have Democrats like Cory Booker who make excuses for criminals and try to stop law enforcement from doing their jobs.
Trump’s immigration enforcement actions are designed to protect American communities from criminal illegal aliens.
But Democrats would rather defend rioters than support efforts to secure our borders and keep Americans safe.
This is why Trump’s approval ratings continue to soar while Democrats like Booker become more irrelevant by the day.
Americans can see right through the Democrats’ twisted priorities.
They know that Trump is fighting for them while Democrats are fighting for criminals and rioters.
Booker’s performance on Meet the Press was a perfect example of how out of touch the Democrat Party has become.
While American cities burn, Democrats worry more about protecting rioters than protecting innocent citizens.
That’s not leadership.
That’s a complete failure of basic responsibility.
President Trump will continue to take whatever action is necessary to restore law and order across the country.
And Democrats like Cory Booker will continue to make excuses for criminals while attacking the President for doing his job.
The American people know exactly which side they’re on.
