Donald Trump discussed his plans to create the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and task Elon Musk with finding waste, fraud, and abuse to cut from the budget in the final months of the campaign.
Trump promised to “cut waste, fraud, and abuse everywhere that we can find it, and there’s plenty of it.”
Americans handed Trump a mandate to fulfill these campaign promises with his landslide victory over Kamala Harris on November 5.
Trump hit the ground running on Day One with a flurry of executive actions that reversed dozens of Biden’s failed policies and fulfilled many of his campaign promises.
Congressional Democrats are unable to stop many of Trump’s actions since Republicans control the House and Senate, but dozens of partisan judges have issued injunctions against many of his policies.
Democrats and radical left-wing activists have declared Elon Musk a top target and are doing everything they can to stop DOGE and ruin his life.
Under Musk’s direction, DOGE has already canceled hundreds of DEI contracts and saved taxpayers billions of dollars.
According to the DOGE website, the audits have already saved taxpayers $130 billion, which is roughly $807.45 per taxpayer.
On Monday, Musk attended his third straight Cabinet meeting where he provided updates on the DOGE findings.
Trump’s Cabinet officials all praised Elon Musk and thanked him for the work he’s doing.
“During the meeting, some Cabinet members heaped support on Musk and DOGE, with Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin touting the ‘incredible’ partnership with his department and Attorney General Pam Bondi offering praise for ‘Elon’s incredible team,’” NBC reported. “Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said, ‘We have had many fraudulent contracts brought to light by Elon.’”
Musk attended the meeting in a red “Trump Was Right About Everything” hat, jeans, and a t-shirt.
But he put jaws on the floor when he reported on the fraud and abuse uncovered by DOGE.
Musk said DOGE found $330 million in Small Business Administration loans went to children under 11 years old.
“A case of fraud was with the Small Business Administration, where they were handing out loans – $330 million worth of loans to people under the age of 11,” Musk said.
DOGE even found a nine-month old baby who received a six figure check.
“I think the youngest, Kelly, was a nine-month year old who got a $100,000 loan,” Musk said. “That’s a very precocious baby we’re talking about here.”
