Elon Musk and Joe Rogan emerged as two of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters.
Both Rogan and Musk learned a lot about Trump.
And Elon Musk just had one thing to say about Joe Rogan’s scary revelation about Trump.
Joe Rogan and Elon Musk call out the media’s lies about Donald Trump
Donald Trump winning the 2024 election was a victory of historic proportion.
Democrats impeached Trump twice and indicted him four times.
Trump also survived getting shot in the head.
Trump beat the combined might of the FBI, CIA, Department of Justice, the media, and every living President’s family.
No one is supposed to be able to overcome the might of the American system.
But Trump did.
After the election Joe Rogan marveled on his podcast that the media spent eight years lying about Trump and calling him a racist, fascist, and Hitler wannabe that would overthrow American democracy to do their part in trying to defeat him.
Rogan said the press knowingly told these lies as part of an op.
“What we saw is the greatest media psy-op in history,” Rogan declared.
Rogan explained that all the stories about Trump being a bigot and a monster were just part of an effort by the press and the Washington, D.C. establishment to create a fictitious version of Trump to try and scare Americans into voting for, first Joe Biden and then, Kamala Harris.
“What you’re seeing with Trump, regardless of his flaws, is a massive concentrated psy-op,” Rogan continued. “They’ve distorted who he is to the point where most people think that way. Most people think that way. They’ve had narratives.”
Rogan’s guest on the program asked what a psyop is, saying he’s heard the term before but didn’t know what it meant.
“Psychological operation,” Rogan replied. “Where they’ve decided to distort people’s perceptions of things.”
Meltdowns are a reaction to the psy-op’s failure
Rogan said the meltdowns in the media over the result of this election were not just over the fact that Trump won.
But rather were over the fact that the press realized their influence diminished because of all the lies and hoaxes they spread about Trump.
More and more Americans are turning to podcasters like Joe Rogan as the primary source of news because they can no longer trust media outlets that lie to them about Trump being a threat to democracy or that he colluded with Russia in the 2016 election.
“They had control of the media up until now. This election was the first time they didn’t really have control of the media anymore,” Rogan exclaimed.
Elon Musk reacted to this segment on Rogan’s show by posting “true” on X.
In many ways, Musk and Rogan’s evolution shows the power and limits of the media’s ability to manipulate how Americans think.
Neither one supported Trump until this year.
Musk called Trump too “divisive” and initially looked like he planned to back Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Rogan resisted ever having Trump on his show until nearly Election Day, thinking Trump was harmful to America.
But Musk and Rogan saw through the lies about Trump following the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
And now they are using their massive platforms to spread the word that the attacks on Trump were a disinformation campaign intended to warp Americans’ perceptions of Trump so they could no longer tell lies from the truth.
