Elon Musk demonstrates Trump Derangement Syndrome in action
Sean Hannity scored a coup by conducting a joint sit down interview with both President Trump and Elon Musk.
Hannity asked Musk about how it felt to once be the darling of the Left – Musk’s Tesla produced electric cars because Musk thought it would help combat climate change – to now being the biggest bogeyman to Democrats outside of Donald Trump.
“Now you’re going to rescue astronauts,” Hannity began. “And now and again, you do all of this. I would think liberals would love the fact that you have the biggest electric vehicle company in the world.”
Musk admitted that was true before telling Hannity he now understands what Trump Derangement Syndrome is like, which is something Musk told Hannity one needs to experience in person to get the full picture of how hatred of Trump warps people’s minds.
“Yeah. I mean, I used to be adored by the Left, you know?” Musk answered. “This whole sort of like, you know, it was, they call it like, ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome,’ and, you know, you don’t realize how real this is until, like, it’s you can’t reason with people.”
Musk then gave a personal example of how Trump Derangement Syndrome twists people’s minds.
The world’s richest man recounted a birthday party he attended at a friend’s house in Los Angeles.
“I was at a friend’s birthday party in L.A., just a birthday dinner, and it was like a nice quiet dinner. Everything was — everyone’s behaving normally,” Musk began.
Musk said he avoided discussing politics that night until a point in the conversation forced him to mention Donald Trump’s name.
At that point, Musk said the other guests reacted like they were shot up with drugs and rage-inducing viruses.
“And then I have to mention —this is before the election, like a month or two before — I have to mention the president’s name, and it was like they got shot with a dart in the jugular that contained, like, the methamphetamine and rabies!” Musk exclaimed.
Musk then began pantomiming how the other guests reacted by shaking his hands wildly in the air much to Hannity’s amusement.
Musk concluded by saying that it amazed him how at the mere mention of Trump’s name it was like a switch got flipped in Democrats that led them to act like crazy people.
“Okay. And like, wow, I haven’t like, what is it guys like?” Musk concluded. “You can have like a normal conversation. And it’s like it’s it’s like that become completely irrational.”
Democrats ended up getting nothing for their hatred of Trump.
Trump won re-election in a landslide because, as Musk experienced first-hand, Democrats couldn’t make a rational case to the voters about why Americans should trust them with power.
Democrats instead just ranted and raved about how much they hated Donald Trump and were shocked to find out that was the minority view.
