Democrats and the left-wing media have been viciously attacking and smearing Elon Musk over his role at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Not only are they going after Musk, but they’re also attempting to take down his businesses.
But Donald Trump made a surprising announcement about Tesla that nearly brought Elon Musk to tears.
Elon Musk may be the only person in the world who drives Democrats and the media up the wall more than Donald Trump.
Musk has been front and center in the political arena since Donald Trump created the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and tasked Musk with running it.
Trump instructed Musk and DOGE to find waste, fraud, and abuse to cut from the federal budget.
Elon Musk is the richest man in the world.
He owns several successful companies, such as SpaceX, Starlink, The Boring Company, and the social media platform X.
Musk is also the founder and CEO of Tesla.
After DOGE terminated hundreds of millions of dollars worth of DEI contracts and fired dozens of federal bureaucrats, the radical Left turned their fire on Tesla.
“Tesla car owners, dealerships and charging stations have been targeted nationwide by protesters and vandals over Musk’s involvement with the Trump administration’s newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE),” Fox News reported.
“Protesters rallied outside Tesla dealerships on Saturday, holding signs denouncing Musk and DOGE, and cars and windows at an Oregon Tesla dealership were damaged by gunshots fired by protesters last week,” Fox News continued. “A man was also arrested after Molotov cocktails were thrown at a Tesla dealership in Salem, Oregon.”
The attacks and boycotts on Tesla sent the stock down by 15% on Monday.
According to reports, Musk lost $29 billion from the 15% decline.
Donald Trump knows more than anyone else what it feels like to be the top target of the radical Left.
He faced eight years of witch hunts, sham investigations, and phony criminal charges.
And on Tuesday, Donald Trump proved himself to be a true friend to Elon Musk.
The Democrats and media have been trying to drive a wedge between Trump and Musk, but their efforts have only strengthened their friendship.
“To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is ‘putting it on the line’ in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s ‘baby,’ in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for,” he continued. “They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out?”
Trump then announced his plans to buy a “brand new Tesla.”
“In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American,” Trump wrote. “Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???”
Donald Trump buying an electric vehicle is something no one ever would have predicted.
Trump has a long history of expressing his dislike of electric vehicles because “they don’t go far” and “they cost a fortune.”
But Trump has always valued friendship and loyalty.
