The 2024 Presidential race is coming right down to the wire.
But at the eleventh hour, Donald Trump may pull a rabbit out of his hat.
And Donald Trump had one election ace in the hole that could guarantee victory.
Nikki Haley’s support for Donald Trump
Pollster Frank Luntz thinks Donald Trump has a secret weapon to deploy in the final two weeks of the 2024 election.
And that’s RINO former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, of all people.
Haley was the last gasp of the Mitt Romney-Liz Cheney GOP establishment in the 2024 primary.
But unlike Cheney and Romney – who torched their credibility to support Kamala Harris – Haley is playing a long con.
Haley thinks if she supports Trump now, she can emerge in 2028 as the establishment figure who still retains credibility with the GOP race.
That’s why Haley endorsed Trump and spoke at the GOP convention.
“I’ll start by making one thing perfectly clear: Donald Trump has my strong endorsement, period,” Haley declared.
Haley tailored her remarks to appeal to voters that cast a ballot for her in the GOP primaries.
“There are some Americans who don’t agree with Donald Trump 100% of the time,” Haley stated.
“My message to them is simple: You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him,” Haley remarked.
Pollster claims Nikki Haley could be difference in the election
CNN host Brianna Keilar asked Luntz about Trump’s comments that Haley could join him out on the stump in the final days of the campaign.
“Trump has said that Nikki Haley, once his nemesis in the primaries, could join him on the trail. She’s done a robocall for him. She’s recorded robocalls on his behalf,” Keilar began.
“But if he — if the Trump campaign deploys her, what kind of voters could that help with? And where do you think that they’ll use her?” Keilar asked.
Luntz claimed that Haley could help Trump peel off young, single women that Kamala Harris is counting to turn out in massive numbers to offset her losses with White working class voters, as well black and Latino men.
“It will help with younger women because Trump is doing so well among older men. It’ll help in these swing states. And Nikki Haley brings interest, brings attention among independents, among swing voters. There aren’t many left, but what is left, they will listen to her,” Luntz stated.
Luntz claimed it was good politics for Trump to appear with Haley in the home stretch of the campaign because Haley was so critical of him in the primaries.
“And it will be a surprise because she has been so challenging of him, so negative towards him up to now. It’s a very smart strategy,” Luntz stated.
Haley is gambling that her support for Trump at a critical moment will override in Republican base voters’ minds the fact that Haley wants to run for President in 2028 as a restoration project of the pre-Trump GOP establishment.
Nikki Haley supports Kamala Harris’ blank check for the war in Ukraine.
And Haley campaigned on what was essentially a pro-abortion platform.
If Nikki Haley wins the GOP nomination in 2028, it means the Mitt Romney-Liz Cheney wing of the party will once again rule the roost in the Republican Party.
