Donald Trump will be America’s 47th President.
As soon as the election got called, everything changed.
But Donald Trump got blindsided by what happened as soon as he won re-election.
Ukrainian President Zelensky reaches out
One of the campaign promises Donald Trump made that drove the media and D.C. establishment crazy was his pledge to bring an end to Joe Biden’s war in Ukraine.
The media and warmongers in D.C. want to escalate the war right to nuclear Armageddon.
Trump said his goal is to bring peace and end the killing.
Joe Biden and Congressional war mongers like Mitch McConnell funneled nearly $200 billion in taxpayer money to Ukraine since 2022.
Trump’s promise to end the war means the end of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s access to the American taxpayer trough.
Once Donald Trump won the election, Zelensky tried to butter up Trump with a congratulatory message on social media.
“I appreciate President Trump’s commitment to the “peace through strength” approach in global affairs. This is exactly the principle that can practically bring just peace in Ukraine closer. I am hopeful that we will put it into action together,” Zelensky added.
Zelensky pledged his desire to work with President Trump while trying to link Ukraine’s future to Europe.
“We look forward to an era of a strong United States of America under President Trump’s decisive leadership. We rely on continued strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States. We are interested in developing mutually beneficial political and economic cooperation that will benefit both of our nations,” Zelensky added.
“Ukraine, as one of Europe’s strongest military powers, is committed to ensuring long-term peace and security in Europe and the Transatlantic community with the support of our allies,” Zelensky continued.
Zelensky now seems worried about blowback for ties to Trump impeachment hoax
Ukraine was central to the first impeachment hoax, so Zelensky is extra careful when addressing Trump.
Trump’s desire to end the war will meet intense resistance from the forces pushing for a globalist world order and the D.C. warmongers.
Other pro-Ukraine warhawk world leaders also chimed in to try and flatter Trump.
“Congratulations President Donald Trump. Ready to work together as we have done for four years,” French President Emmanuel Macron posted. “With your convictions and with mine. With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity.”
“On behalf of myself and the Italian Government, my most sincere congratulations to the President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump,” Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote on X.
But Trump does have some allies.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is a nationalist conservative opposed to endless war in Ukraine.
And he also offered his message of support for Trump on the wake of the election.
“The biggest comeback in US political history! Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump on his enormous win,” long-time Trump ally Hungarian Prime Minister Orban declared. “A much needed victory for the World!”
Donald Trump said he wants to end the war in Ukraine before he takes office.
The forces in favor of this conflict will bring tremendous pressure to bear to keep the war going and the money flowing.
