Dick Cheney endorses Kamala Harris
Dick Cheney became the highest-ranking Republican to endorses Kamala Harris for President.
Cheney parroted the big lie about Americans needing to defeat Donald Trump because of his supposed threat to democracy.
“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump. He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after voters rejected him. He can never be trusted with power again,” Cheney wrote.
“As citizens, we each have a duty to put country above partisanship to defend our Constitution. That is why I will be casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris,” Cheney added.
Some Never Trumpers think they can maintain their conservative principles if they oppose both Trump and Kamala Harris.
Trump supporters contend that conservatives who sit home or vote third party are still helping to elect Kamala Harris President.
Dick Cheney didn’t even bother to try and keep up those pretenses.
Cheney fully outed himself as someone who spent years deceiving Republican voters because his ultimate ideology was about achieving power.
Piers Morgan slams Dick Cheney for endorsing Kamala Harris
British journalist Piers Morgan mocked Cheney as suffering from acute Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Morgan said Dick – as well as daughter Liz – Cheney threw away everything they claimed to believe because Donald Trump broke their brains.
“This is about Trump Derangement Syndrome. We’ve discussed this for many years. People get so completely demented about Trump, as you see with Liz Cheney and now with Dick Cheney, that they will literally abdicate all of their own principles to do something, which is other than support Trump,” Morgan stated.
Kamala Harris isn’t just running as a standard issue Democrat.
Kamala Harris endorsed a radical plan to pack the Supreme Court.
“It makes no sense and it is indicative of a mindset of some people on the conservative side where they will literally do anything, even if it destroys their principles, to do anything but support Trump, and I think that’s ridiculous,” Morgan added.
The other – more likely alternative – is that the Cheney’s are closer to today’s Democrat Party.
But their hatred for Trump caused them to snap and stop the charade of being conservatives.
