Kamala Harris’ campaign is struggling down the stretch run of the 2024 campaign.
There was one last chance to pull a rabbit out of the hat.
And CNN drove the final nail in Kamala Harris’ coffin with this bad review.
Kamala Harris’ town hall debacle
Kamala Harris took one opportunity to stage what her campaign calls “tentpole” events.
The candidate’s handlers agreed to a CNN town hall, hoping it would be another moment like her convention speech or debate where she could drive the news cycle through a carefully rehearsed performance.
But at the end of the day, they still had to count on Kamala Harris showing up and performing at an acceptable level.
And that appears to be too much to ask for Kamala Harris.
During the town hall, Kamala delivered one rambling answer after another and left everyone scratching their heads about where she really stands.
At one point in the event, Kamala Harris actually answered the question about what her biggest weakness was, with the cringe-inducing response being that she works too hard.

CNN pans Kamala Harris’ performance
No one needed to look far to see that Kamala Harris bombed this town hall.
The pro-Kamala Harris media was despondent over what took place.
Over on CNN, Kamala Harris fangirl Dana Bash reported that Democrats she spoke with thought this was another fumble by Kamala, as her non-answers didn’t land with undecided voters.
“What I’m hearing from people who I’ve been talking to … if her goal was to close the deal, they’re not sure she did that,” Bash stated.
Bash knows her Democrat viewers want some silver lining to take out of the event, so Bash did her level best to find one.
And what Bash said was that, effectively, the good that Democrats could take away from Kamala’s showing was the equivalent of a participation trophy.
“Having said that, any time that she can be in front of an audience and interacting with voters is a win as far as her campaign goes – and they are very happy about that,” Bash added.
Former Obama chief strategist David Axelrod’s offered an even harsher assessment.
Axelrod slammed her “word salad” answers.
“The things that would concern me is when she doesn’t want to answer a question, her habit is to kind of go to Word Salad City,” Axelrod told viewers.
“And she did that on a couple of answers,” Axelrod continued.
Axelrod then picked apart her poor responses on Israel and the border.
“One was on Israel – Anderson [Cooper] asked a direct question, ‘Would you be stronger on Israel than Trump?’ And there was a seven-minute answer, but none of that related to the question he was asking,” Axelrod lamented.
“She would acknowledge no concerns about any of the administration’s policies. And that’s a mistake,” Axelrod remarked. “Sometimes you have to concede things, and she didn’t concede much.”
If Axelrod and the rest of the crew at CNN thought Kamala Harris performed well, or was on a track to victory, they would have been more effusive with their praise.
