The battle over fairness in women's sports reached a boiling point.
One Angel City soccer player stood up for biological reality and got destroyed for it.
And Clay Travis put the left in a panic with one genius move that exposed the truth about women's sports.
Angel City defender torched by teammates for defending women's sports
Angel City FC defender Elizabeth Eddy made the mistake of stating an obvious fact that used to be common sense.
In an opinion piece published in the New York Post last week, the veteran National Women's Soccer League player argued the league needs clear gender eligibility standards.¹
Eddy wrote that controversies in swimming and track exposed how professional soccer lacks policies when it comes to biological males and intersex athletes competing against women.
"Fairness and inclusion are core American values," Eddy explained. "Reasonable people can disagree about where to draw lines, but avoiding the conversation altogether by shutting out diverse views does not serve us."²
She suggested two options — requiring all players to be born with ovaries like England's Football Association requires, or implementing an SRY gene test like World Athletics and World Boxing use.
The response from her own teammates was vicious.
Team captain Sarah Gorden and vice captain Angelina Anderson held a press conference to publicly denounce Eddy's column.
"That article does not speak for this team in this locker room," Gorden declared. "I've had a lot of conversations with my teammates in the past few days and they are hurt and they are harmed by the article, and also, they are disgusted by some of the things that were said."³
They labeled Eddy's fact-based argument as "transphobic and racist" even though she never named a single player.
Angel City released a statement distancing itself from Eddy's views while emphasizing its "commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging."⁴
Eddy has played just 87 minutes across three seasons with Angel City and didn't appear in a single match during the 2025 campaign.
Her contract expires at the end of the season.
The message was clear — speak up for fairness in women's sports and your career is over.

That's when OutKick founder Clay Travis stepped in with a move that has the left scrambling.
Travis announced he's willing to put his money where his mouth is by starting an all-male team in the National Women's Soccer League.
"I'll put up the money for an all male team to join the NWSL," Travis posted on social media. "We'll win the championship every single year and all the people who run women's soccer will have no one to blame but themselves."⁵
Travis already offered to pay a man $100,000 to try out for the NWSL, but this takes things to the next level.
Travis is playing by the rules the left created.
If biological males can compete in women's sports because of "gender identity," then his all-male team qualifies under the same logic.
And that team would dominate every opponent they faced.
The physical differences between male and female athletes aren't controversial — they're basic biology.
Men have greater muscle mass, bone density, lung capacity, and cardiovascular performance than women.⁶
Research shows these advantages don't disappear with hormone therapy.
A 2021 study found that even after two years of testosterone suppression, male athletes retained significant strength advantages over females.⁷
Youth boys' teams have regularly scrimmaged against elite women's national squads and won decisively.
The physical gap between male and female athletes isn't debatable — it's documented in every sport where both sexes compete.
Travis forces the left to confront their own hypocrisy
The beauty of Travis's proposal is that it exposes the fundamental contradiction in the left's position.
They claim biological males competing against women is fair.
But the second Travis suggests fielding an entire team of males, suddenly everyone understands how absurd the whole thing is.
An all-male NWSL team would crush every opponent by double-digit margins.
They'd break every league record within months.
Female players would have zero chance of competing for championships or individual honors.
That's exactly what happens when biological males compete against women — just on a smaller scale.
The radical left created these rules that prioritize feelings over fairness.
Now Travis is holding up a mirror and showing them the logical conclusion of their policies.
Angel City FC sits 11th in the NWSL standings with a -20 goal differential this season.⁹
Maybe instead of attacking Elizabeth Eddy for defending women's sports, her teammates should focus on their performance on the field.
But that would require acknowledging reality — something the woke mob refuses to do.
Travis's all-male NWSL team would bring Nashville its first championship.
And it would force everyone to admit what they already know deep down — men don't belong in women's sports.
