It turns out that Kamala Harris can’t even execute what Joe Biden was able to pull off four years ago.
And 60 Minutes caught Kamala Harris in this compromising situation that will destroy her with voters.
Kamala Harris’ disastrous 60 Minutes interview
A campaign that changes its strategy is one that is losing.
And the first campaign to change their strategy in the 2024 election was Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris only sat for one national interview in her first two months as a candidate.
That all changed once October hit.
Kamala Harris began showing up for interviews on 60 Minutes, The View, The Call Her Daddy podcast, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert!, and Howard Stern’s radio show.
All that these interviews proved is that Kamala Harris’ handlers were right to keep her hidden away from answering questions.
It wasn’t like Kamala Harris even faced tough questions.
Kamala Harris couldn’t answer basic questions.
CBS’ Bill Whitaker caused Kamala Harris to implode by simply asking how she planned to pay for her socialist spending schemes, which nonpartisan experts said would add 3 trillion dollars to the deficit.
“But it is estimated by the Nonpartisan Committee for Responsible Federal Budget that your economic plan would add $3 trillion to the federal deficit over the next decade. How are you gonna pay for that?” Whitaker asked.
Kamala Harris’ response was a word salad.
“OK, so the other econ- economists that have reviewed my plan versus my opponent and determined that my economic plan would strengthen America’s economy. His would weaken it,” Kamala replied.
Whitaker tried to remind Kamala Harris that the question was how she planned to pay for all her socialist spending.
Kamala Harris didn’t want to admit the truth – which is that she planned to raise taxes on small business owners.
So, Kamala tried a variation of her “excuse me, I am speaking” meme.
“My plan, Bill, if you don’t mind, my plan is about saying that when you invest in small businesses, you invest in the middle class, and you strengthen America’s economy. Small businesses are part of the backbone of America’s economy,” Kamala Harris continued.
Kamala Harris goes around in circles
Whitaker desperately tried to get Kamala to answer the question.
“But—but pardon me, Madame Vice President, I– the– the question was, how are you going to pay for it?” Whitaker asked, again.
All Whitaker got in response was gibberish.
“Well, one of the things is I’m gonna make sure that the richest among us, who can afford it, pay their fair share in taxes. It is not right that teachers and nurses and firefighters are paying a har– a higher tax rate than billionaires and the biggest corporations,” Kamala Harris continued.
Whitaker then delivered a devastating rebuke and treated Kamala Harris like he was talking to a delusional child.
“But we’re dealing with the real world here,” Whitaker asked. “How are you gonna get this through Congress?”
Kamala Harris then claimed she had a secret plan to convince Republicans in Congress to support 3 trillion dollars in tax increases.
“You know, when you talk quietly with a lot of folks in Congress, they know exactly what I’m talking about, ’cause their constituents know exactly what I’m talking about. Their constituents are those firefighters and teachers and nurses. Their constituents are middle-class, hard-working folk,” Kamala Harris stated.
Bill Whitaker brought the discussion back to reality.
“And Congress has shown no inclination to move in your direction,” Whitaker stated, matter-of-factly.
Kamala Harris’ media blitz strategy was designed to alleviate the fear among voters that she’s just an empty vessel with no actual plan to improve their lives.
These interviews only reinforced voters’ worst fears about Kamala Harris.
