A gig driver who calls herself a communist bragged about stealing federal agents' food.
She assumed the company would quietly let her keep getting away with it.
One conversation with a company representative ended her scheme for good.
Communist Delivery Driver Bragged About Targeting Federal Agents
A driver going by nixxslingerland operates out of Batavia, New York.
The Daily Caller identified her as Nix Slingerland, matching a Facebook profile using the same photo.
Batavia is home to the Buffalo Federal Detention Center, an ICE processing facility that orders food through delivery apps just like any other workplace.
Slingerland decided that was reason enough to steal from federal employees.
She posted screenshots bragging that she had canceled an order bound for the detention center and kept the food, mocking the intended recipients as Nazis in the process.
"I love communism," she added, alongside a photo of M&M's she claimed to have received in exchange.
Slingerland didn't stop at one post.
She admitted doing this more than once, saying she doubted DoorDash would ever pull the detention center from her delivery queue but that canceling the orders still felt satisfying to her.
The account behind the posts describes itself as agender and queer, and it links to content supporting drag performers and anti-ICE protests.
Conservative watchdog account Libs of TikTok caught the posts and tagged DoorDash directly, asking whether stealing from a federal facility was somehow within company policy.
DoorDash Confirms She Was Fired For More Than Just Theft
DoorDash didn't hesitate.
The company confirmed the driver's account had been permanently deactivated.
"This Dasher's account has been deactivated," DoorDash said in a statement, explaining that using its cancellation tool to redirect orders based on where they were headed amounted to theft under company policy.
But theft wasn't the only problem.
DoorDash also revealed that Slingerland lashed out at a support representative on the phone once the company tried to walk her through why the cancellations violated its rules.
That outburst became a second, separate violation, and it sealed her fate.
A company spokesperson later confirmed to Fox News that Slingerland had no formal employment relationship with DoorDash at all, since Dashers work as independent contractors rather than staff.
That detail didn't stop her from losing access to the platform entirely.
Batavia police confirmed to reporters that no one had filed a theft complaint over the incident, meaning DoorDash pulled the plug well before any criminal investigation ever began.
From Gas Stations To DoorDash, The Same Anti-ICE Playbook Repeats
This didn't happen in a vacuum, and your Uncle who watches the news every night already knows that.
Video from earlier this year caught a Speedway gas station manager in Minnesota telling Border Patrol Cmdr. Gregory Bovino he didn't support ICE, then going quiet when asked whether refusing him service was even legal.
Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin confirmed similar incidents had played out at gas stations elsewhere as agitators stalked agents.
Now a DoorDash driver in Buffalo took that same hostility and turned it into outright theft, dressing it up as activism and bragging about it for likes.
DoorDash didn't fire Slingerland because it loves ICE.
It fired her because she stole a company's product and then popped off at the employee who caught her red-handed.
Every DHS employee she targeted still got fed, because other Dashers kept doing their jobs while Slingerland played revolutionary with somebody else's dinner.
She wanted a headline about striking a blow against "fascism."
Instead she got a deactivation notice and a permanent spot in the file of leftists who torched their own paycheck to feel something.
