Now Gates and his cabal of left-wing elites are on defense thanks to Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
And Bill Gates doesn’t want you to know this dark secret about USAID.
Bill Gates tries to defend USAID
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) sits squarely in the crosshairs of Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and DOGE.
Elon Musk slammed USAID as a “criminal organization” after he and the DOGE team dug through the books and discovered that USAID operated a $44 billion slush fund to funnel money to leftist political causes and left-wing media outlets.
Bill Gates is one of the voices the media turns to to give credence to their globalist schemes, since Gates’ history as an innovator in the world of technology lends intellectual heft to his arguments.
So it was no big surprise that CNN’s Anderson Cooper put Gates on the air to defend USAID.
Gates claimed that USAID funneling taxpayer money to foreign countries saved lives.
“USAID plays a super important role . . . it’s work that saves millions of lives and helps strengthen relationships for the United States,” Gates declared.
Gates brought up the PEPFAR program that President George W. Bush signed to distribute AIDS drugs to Africa as the type of program USAID funds.
“There were 48 hours where drug disbursement was shut down, and then that was reversed. And now the challenge is that the employees who manage that work aren’t being let into the office. So we’re a bit up in the air. When I saw President Trump just after Christmas, I emphasized the value of these HIV programs, the fact that I support them, and that we work hard to ensure the money is well spent. That was a strong message I gave him. I’m hopeful he’ll see both the moral and strategic value in keeping this strong,” Gates stated.
But passing out lifesaving drugs in Africa isn’t USAID’s real mission.
USAID is a clearing house to launder money to left-wing political movements.
Former Trump administration official Mike Benz explained that USAID helped fund leftists overthrowing the government of Bangladesh by pumping into groups that supported transgenderism, the radical homosexual agenda, and social justice.
“When they overthrew the government of Bangladesh four months ago . . . the only groups that they could muster to form an opposition group against the sitting government were gay and transgender groups, were two racial minority groups within Bangladesh, and youth and student groups who predominantly listened to rap music,” Benz stated.
Benz explained that this was a uniparty web of organizations funding international left-wing political movements by pumping money in cultural organizations, universities, and media outlets.
“So what do they turn around and do? I.R.I. (International Republican Institution) in tandem with USAID, they funded Bangladesh rap groups, they funded transgender dance festivals, and they funded the local universities in order to push radicalization messages to overthrow the democratically elected government. But that was Republicans. That was the International Republican Institute, not the Democrats,” Benz added.
Benz said the USAID also funds groups that support Internet censorship and that encourage advertiser boycotts of conservative news sites.
USAID’s true mission is to silence opposition to left-wing political movements and to impose the woke agenda on any country that may try to resist.
