Barack Obama Made One Move That Just Exposed His Most Dangerous Secret About Communist China

Feb 5, 2026

Barack Obama postured as a defender of American values during his presidency.

But a bombshell book just pulled back the curtain on what he really did behind closed doors.

And Barack Obama made one move that just exposed his most dangerous secret about Communist China.

Obama Administration Opened Floodgates for Chinese Birth Tourism

Peter Schweizer's explosive new book The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon reveals how Obama rolled out the red carpet for Communist China to exploit American citizenship.

Chinese birth tourism "exploded" under Obama's watch after he ordered U.S. consular offices "not to deny visa applicants solely because they planned to travel to the United States to obtain citizenship for their child."

Obama didn't just turn a blind eye to the scheme.

He made it official policy that Chinese nationals could openly admit their intention to have anchor babies without facing visa rejection.

Then Obama made things even easier in November 2014 when he announced a ten-year reciprocal visa agreement with China.

Before that deal, Chinese citizens had to renew their visas annually with an interview each time.

The new arrangement let them shuttle back and forth for a decade giving birth to multiple children without a single additional interview.

Australian professor Salvator Babones pointed out the staggering implications of Obama's policy.

Young Chinese women who got those ten-year visas in 2014 and 2015 could have "as much as 25 years of fertility ahead of them."

That means one visa approval could enable a Chinese national to have multiple anchor babies spread across more than two decades.

U.S. Customs records show this isn't theoretical.

In 2017, agents interviewed a couple from China who already had two children born in the United States and were having their third.

The father was a Chinese military officer.

According to a U.S. Senate Report, having multiple anchor babies is "relatively common" among Chinese nationals exploiting Obama's visa policies.

Chinese Elites and CCP Officials Cashed In

Chinese birth tourism operators didn't hide what they were selling.

One company called the United States "the most attractive nationality" because of "free stuff, not freedom."

Their marketing materials touted "free education from junior high school to public high school" and "senior supplement benefits when you are living overseas" like Social Security and Medicare.

One Chinese agency even offered "a primer on how the US welfare system works."

Another described how "parents can apply for immigration as guardians at almost zero cost" and "go to California to enjoy the sunshine after retirement, as well as enjoy California's white card program for the elderly and free medical care."

A birth tourism agent bragged the industry's return on investment is "higher than robbing a bank."

China Mifubaby Group operated at least 50 properties in Irvine, California.

Nearly every property was purchased for more than $1 million with a mortgage.

The clients weren't struggling immigrants looking for opportunity.

Star Baby Care served government tax officials, executives at China Telecom, Chinese Central Television, and Bank of China.

USA Happy Baby counted employees of the government's radio propaganda agency and the "feared" Public Security Bureau among its customers.

These weren't people rejecting the Chinese Communist Party.

They were CCP insiders and elites using American birthright citizenship as a tool while maintaining their loyalty to Beijing.

Lawyer Liang Zhiyi explained the Chinese government's view to a Chinese newspaper.

"Tourism is an opportunity to make money," he said. "Operators should not waste this opportunity."

He added that birth tourism "could have a long-term positive impact on the United States" and cited Bruce Lee as an example.

Federal Prosecutions Revealed Massive Scope of Schemes

The birth tourism industry didn't start collapsing until 2019 when federal prosecutors finally unsealed indictments against 19 people linked to schemes across Southern California.

Those cases stemmed from raids federal agents conducted back in March 2015 during the Obama administration.

But it took Trump's Department of Justice to finally bring the "first-ever federal criminal charges" against birth tourism operators and customers four years after those raids.

Dongyuan Li ran You Win USA Vacation Services and advertised serving more than 500 Chinese birth tourism customers.

She used 20 apartments in Irvine, charged each customer between $40,000 and $80,000, and received $3 million in wire transfers from China in just two years.

Michael Liu and Phoebe Dong operated USA Happy Baby from 2012 to 2015.

They charged Chinese clients tens of thousands of dollars and helped more than 100 pregnant Chinese women travel to the United States.

Prosecutors said the pair coached women on how to trick customs officials by flying into airports believed to be more lax while wearing loose-fitting clothing to hide their pregnancies.

Some wealthy clients showed "blatant disregard for the American legal system" by defying court orders to remain in the United States and fleeing back to China.

Jun Xiao wrote from China after violating a court order: "Anyway, I'm already home. U.S. can't do anything to me."

Dongjiang He listed his occupation as "Government" and position as "Project Manager and Secretary General" for China Nonferrous Metals when he applied for his visa before fleeing the country.

The Center for Immigration Studies estimates more than 20,000 births in the United States each year were to mothers on tourist visas.

Some Chinese authorities and scholars estimate between 750,000 to 1.5 million Chinese nationals obtained U.S. citizenship through birth tourism.

One visa consultant who helped thousands of babies travel back to China told The Nation the number was likely between 50,000 to 80,000 per year from 2012 to 2016.

That's hundreds of thousands of Chinese citizens who will be eligible to vote in American elections and hold government positions.

Children raised in China, educated in Chinese schools, and embedded in CCP networks with full American citizenship rights.

Communist China's History of Weaponizing Migration

Beijing doesn't just encourage birth tourism for the money.

China has "a long and notorious history of using mass migration as a strategic weapon," Schweizer writes.

When Great Britain began transitioning Hong Kong to Chinese rule in 1997, Beijing engineered an operation to have more than 83,000 Chinese with fake identities migrate to Hong Kong.

Those immigrants represented 1.4% of Hong Kong's population but 9.12% of the territory's voting population.

Scholar Yin Qian explained these weren't ordinary immigrants.

"These fifth columnists appear to be ordinary immigrants, but they carry the Chinese government's official blessing," he said.

"These migrants served as Beijing's 'invisible hand' to steer the territory in the designed direction."

The same strategy is playing out in America thanks to Obama's policies.

Chinese elites and CCP officials using birth tourism aren't coming to America for freedom or to embrace American values.

They're creating a generation of voting-age citizens with Chinese loyalties who can infiltrate American institutions and government positions.

Young Chinese women who got ten-year visas in 2014 under Obama's agreement still have those visas active today.

Their children born in America are being raised in China, attending Chinese schools, and absorbing CCP propaganda.

In just a few years, the oldest of those children will turn 18.

They'll be able to vote in American elections, serve in the U.S. military, and work in sensitive government positions requiring security clearances.

All because Barack Obama decided selling out American citizenship was worth courting Chinese tourism dollars.

The Trump Administration finally cracked down on the schemes in 2019 and 2020.

But Obama's damage lasted for years and created a national security time bomb that won't fully detonate for another decade.

Trump recently signed an executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship for children of parents in the country illegally or temporarily.

The Supreme Court will ultimately decide whether the 14th Amendment allows such restrictions.

But one thing is clear: Barack Obama knew exactly what he was enabling when he opened the floodgates for Chinese birth tourism.

And he did it anyway.
