Joe Biden steps in it with a shocking attack on Trump supporters
Former President Donald Trump held a massive campaign rally in New York City at the famed Madison Square Garden as one of the final events of his campaign.
A comedian who spoke during the rally created a stir over an off-color joke they told.
Tony Hinchcliffe was asked to serve as one of the warmup acts during the lineup of speakers.
He set off a firestorm when he joked that Puerto Rico was a “floating island of garbage.”
The media was desperate to create a hoax against Trump so they blew the comment out of proportion as some racist attack on all Hispanics.
President Joe Biden responded by calling Trump supporters “garbage” during a video call with a Hispanic voter group.
“And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a ‘floating island of garbage.’ Well, let me tell you something. I don’t– I– I don’t know the Puerto Rican that– that I know– or a Puerto Rico, where I’m from– in my home state of Delaware, they’re good, decent, honorable people,” Biden rambled.
“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters– his– his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American,” Biden raged.
White House officials tried to walk it back by claiming that Biden was talking about the “hateful rhetoric” at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally.
But the damage was already done as the video of him calling Trump supporters went viral on social media.

Biden’s “garbage” comment came as Vice President Kamala Harris delivered one of her final major speeches of the campaign, at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., where she continued to claim without evidence that she wanted to unify the country.
She disavowed Biden’s remarks but one journalist thought that wasn’t what she really believed.
Veteran political journalist Mark Halperin, Democrat strategist Dan Turrentine, and former Trump White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer reacted to Biden calling Trump supporters “garbage” on The Morning Meeting podcast.
“I think he meant ‘his supporters.’ With all due respect to my fellow Democrats, I do not think he was just talking about the comedian,” Turrentine said. “Just as the comic’s statement plays to a stereotype of Republicans, that Democrats are jumping all over, this plays to the stereotype that Democrats and patronizing and condescending — and I think it is what Biden really believes. It is hard to win the other side’s voters when you have no respect for them.”
Kamala attacked Trump and his supporters as fascists during the campaign.
Halperin chimed in that Kamala and every other Democrat politician thought the same thing as Biden.
“Let’s be clear, it is what almost every Democrat elected official actually believes,” Halperin stated.
Spicer wasn’t buying the spin from the White House that claimed Biden said “supporter’s” with an apostrophe to refer to the comedian.
“I have the most experience mangling words and screwing up on a public stage, so… We played the video, he said it,” Spicer said. “He can say he didn’t mean it, or he screwed up but to start to play the Tim Walz grammar game is insane.”
