Donald Trump unleashed shock and awe after taking office.
He caught his opposition completely off guard.
And a RINO sellout gave Democrats bad news about Donald Trump they hated to hear.
Establishment pollster finds that Donald Trump is delivering for voters
Democrats are struggling to find a winning message and strategy to oppose President Donald Trump.
The Trump administration is moving at the speed of light to enact the President’s agenda, which has left Democrats struggling to respond.
Veteran Democrat strategist James Carville unveiled his party’s new wishful thinking about stopping Trump.
He argued that Democrats shouldn’t do anything because Trump was 30 days away from a collapse in the polls.
“I believe that this administration, in less than 30 days is in the midst of a massive collapse, in particularly a collapse in public opinion,” Carville claimed. “This whole thing is collapsing. Hold your fire. It’s going to be easy pickings here in six weeks, just lay back.”
Democrats’ dreams of a Trump collapse with a key group of voters took a major hit.
RINO pollster Frank Luntz is one of the original Never-Trumpers.
He said that “paycheck-to-paycheck voters” are happy with Trump’s agenda during an appearance on NewsNation’s On Balance with Leland Vittert.
Deporting violent illegal aliens and slashing government waste are two popular policies with these voters, according to Luntz.
Host Leland Vittert asked what his polling was showing with paycheck-to-check voters.
“That they are really happy that people who should not be here are being asked to leave,” Luntz explained. “That they’re really happy Washington’s being held responsible and accountable for wasteful Washington spending, that they want to see the government be more efficient, more effective and more accountable.”
Luntz offered one warning for Trump about this group.
“The only criticism that they have is they don’t want the President to take his eye off the ball when it comes to how much their day-to-day life costs them,” Luntz added.
He defined paycheck-to-paycheck voters as people who barely cover the mortgage or rent who have nothing left over at the end of the month.
“They want to make sure that this administration is as focused now as they were during the election campaign. They believe in everything else,” Luntz stated. “What will a focus on changing the way Washington works, how will that impact them favorably in their wallets and in their pocketbooks?”
Key Democrat and establishment attack on Trump is shot down
Democrats and some weak-kneed Republicans argue that Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are moving too fast to change Washington, D.C. and doing too much.
Luntz told CNN that voters who flipped from Hillary Clinton and former President Joe Biden to Trump were thrilled with how fast Trump is moving to change Washington, D.C.
“They love the pace of change. They were very fed up over the last four years. They wanted action. They wanted results. They looked at prices,” Luntz explained. “They looked at affordability. They looked at immigration. And they didn’t see anything happening. They still don’t like what he says, but they like what he does.”
“And for the first time, they have confidence in the future, which is why you now see some significant shifts in the polling about the expectations for the direction in the coming years,” Luntz added.
James Carville and Democrats will have to go back to the drawing board if they’re counting on a Trump collapse.
