Donald Trump went to work securing the border on the first day of his new administration.
Illegal alien encounters at the border are down 87%.
But Border Czar Tom Homan turned the Vatican upside down with seven brutal words of advice for Pope Francis.
Four years of Joe Biden’s open borders agenda made illegal immigration one of the top issues of the election.
Donald Trump campaigned on a promise to secure the border and carry out the largest mass deportation program in American history.
Voters gave Donald Trump an overwhelming mandate to reverse Biden’s border policies with his landslide victory over Kamala Harris.
And Trump hit the ground running on Day One by issuing a flurry of executive orders on border security and illegal immigration.
He declared a national emergency at the border, authorized troop deployments, brought back Remain in Mexico, and ended catch and release.
Trump appointed Tom Homan as his Border Czar and tasked him with leading the mass deportations.
The ICE raids started on Trump’s first day in office and the deportations are ongoing.
Of course, Democrats and the media are in a fit of rage over the mass deportations.
Democrat Governors and Mayors are trying to undermine ICE and protect illegal aliens from deportation.
Pope Francis previously came out swinging against Trump’s mass deportations and referred to them as a “disgrace.”
“That’s not right,” Francis said about deportations. “That’s not how you solve problems.”
Pope Francis just fired off a letter to U.S. Bishops on Tuesday, where he denounced Trump’s mass deportations.
“I have followed closely the major crisis that is taking place in the United States with the initiation of a program of mass deportations,” Francis wrote. “The act of deporting people who in many cases have left their own land for reasons of extreme poverty, insecurity, exploitation, persecution or serious deterioration of the environment, damages the dignity of many men and women, and of entire families, and places them in a state of particular vulnerability and defenselessness.”
Tom Homan is a lifelong Catholic.
But that didn’t stop him from slamming Pope Francis and telling him to mind his own business.
“I’ve got harsh words for the Pope,” Homan told reporters at the White House on Tuesday. “Pope ought to fix the Catholic Church.”
“I’m saying this as a lifelong Catholic — I was baptized Catholic, my first Communion as a Catholic, confirmation as a Catholic,” Homan said. “He ought to fix the Catholic Church and concentrate on his work and leave border enforcement to us.”
Homan pointed out the hypocrisy of the Pope since the Vatican has a massive wall around it.
“He wants to attack us securing our border?” Homan said. “He has a wall around the Vatican, does he not?” he continued. “So he has a wall to protect his people and himself, but we can’t have a wall around the United States?”
“I wish he’d stick to the Catholic Church and fix that and leave border enforcement to us,” he added.
Pope Francis is a globalist who supports the woke agenda.
He’s a disgrace to the Catholic Church.
And he would be wise to take Homan’s advice.
