Patricia Heaton spoke one truth about Donald Trump that left Hollywood fuming

Feb 12, 2025

Patricia Heaton is one of the most outspoken conservative actresses.

She didn’t pull any punches with her message.

And Patricia Heaton spoke one truth about Donald Trump that left Hollywood fuming.

Patricia Heaton is optimistic about the next four years under Trump

Most of Hollywood is in the depths of despair over the outcome of the 2024 Election.

But actress Patricia Heaton has had a good feeling since President Donald Trump took office.

The Everyone Loves Raymond star said it was a “privilege to be living” in the United States and expressed her optimism about the next four years under Trump.

“I want everybody to feel that America is on the right track, feel proud of America and grateful,” Heaton told Fox News.

Heaton has traveled the world doing charity work with the Christian relief organization World Vision.

She was the group’s first celebrity ambassador, beginning in 2015.

That experience gave her a renewed appreciation of being an American.

“I’ve traveled a lot around the world with World Vision and with other organizations,” Heaton stated. “And, you know, it’s a privilege to be living in this country.”

Patricia Heaton and her husband live the American Dream

Heaton married British actor David Hunt in 1990 and the couple had four children together.

“There’s so much opportunity here,” Heaton explained. “My husband’s an immigrant from England, and that’s a very, like, class society. And when he came over here, it was sort of like people told him, ‘You can do anything you want. And by the way, we want to help you achieve your dreams.’”

Hunt had a popular guest role on Everybody Loves Raymond, where he played Ray Barone’s rival neighbor Bill Parker.

“And I think that’s what’s beautiful about the American people. And we want everybody who is here to feel like they can achieve their dreams,” Heaton added.

Heaton hoped that the Trump administration could ease tensions in the Middle East.

“I’m hopeful that the difficulties in the Middle East will be settled to some extent,” Heaton told Fox News Digital. “I don’t think it’ll ever completely go away. There’s thousands of years of history there that’s hard to undo.”

Heaton weighed in on the Los Angeles wildfires that killed nearly 30 people and destroyed 16,000 structures.

The Emmy Award-winning actress helped with disaster relief through the LA Dream Center.

She criticized California’s Democrat leadership for dropping the ball in the crisis.

“I know some of the officials were saying, ‘Well, the system was overwhelmed.’ Well, in case of a huge fire, of course, it’s going to be overwhelmed,” Heaton said. “You should know that and have been prepared for that. So, I think there’s a lot of money spent in L.A. and we can’t figure out where it’s going.”

Heaton wondered why the reservoirs around Los Angeles weren’t filled with water in anticipation of wildfire season.

She said California’s government needed to focus on two basic things.

“I just think you want to do the foundational work of your government, which is to maintain the infrastructure, number one. And keep people safe. Number two, like just focus on those two things,” Heaton explained. “And when you get that done, then you can add on some bells and whistles.”
