House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer led the investigations that uncovered the millions of dollars in payments from foreign businesses to the Biden crime family.
But Comer was in for the surprise of his life.
And now Fox News may ban James Comer for this unthinkable reason.
James Comer’s bombshell book All the President’s Money is the account of the investigation that uncovered tens of millions of dollars in payments to Biden family members and their business associates.
One of the most shocking revelations in the book came when Comer described how Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy began criticizing him on air over an incident that took place in SCIF where Doocy’s daughter – who was the FBI’s General Counsel – had a run in with Comer.
Comer wrote that after that incident, Steve and Peter Doocy began attacking his investigation and feeding false narratives to the liberal media about how Comer and Republicans were on a wild goose chase.
“Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but her father, Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy, and her brother, Fox White House correspondent Peter Doocy, would soon become my biggest critics on Fox News for the remainder of the investigation,” Comer wrote.
“And they didn’t let up off camera either. Many of the White House videos criticizing me, and many of the legacy media outlets’ false narratives citing disparaging comments about me and the investigation, were from the Doocys,” Comer added.
Fox News issued a statement denying the allegation and claiming Peter and Steve Doocy weren’t aware of this incident in the SCIF until Comer wrote about it in his book.
“The first time Steve Doocy and Peter Doocy were even made aware of what took place in the SCIF with James Comer was tonight when they saw this book excerpt which speaks volumes about how scrupulous they are and the high ethical bar their family operates with,” the network’s statement read. “Suffice it to say Comer’s attack is off base and insulting.”
Some media reporters wondered if Comer attacking a star host would lead to Fox News permanently banning Comer from appearing on the network.
Mediaite reported that CNN’s Oliver Darcy noted that “Comer was on Fox News to promote his book, Monday – the same day that the network hit back – and questioned whether the congressman would be allowed back on in the near future.”
Steve Doocy has taken positions in the past that put him at odds with Donald Trump and his base.
Doocy criticized Trump’s conduct after the 2020 election.
Doocy was also one of the few Fox News personalities to defend COVID mandates and the controversial COVID vaccine.
James Comer’s investigation into the Biden family struck paydirt even if those in the legacy media don’t want to admit that was the case.
