Democrats think California Governor Gavin Newsom is one of their best hopes to retake the White House in 2028.
But that isn’t the case after this display.
And Gavin Newsom will need to go into hiding after what this video showed him doing to one woman.
Woman confronts Gavin Newsom over failed leadership during wildfires
Gavin Newsom is overseeing one of the biggest Democrat public policy failures in American history.
That’s saying a lot because the last five years have seen the utter collapse of Democrat governance.
Pandemic lockdowns and school closures, big government spending binges that released the inflation genie from the bottle, and open borders discredited the Left on competence as well as the size and scope of government.
Now Gavin Newsom is single-handedly discrediting the Left on environmental policy thanks to the green new deal leaving California vulnerable to these wildfires as mitigating climate change took precedence over building up the state’s water infrastructure.
Newsom may never recover from the latest video going viral. It could be the final nail in his coffin.
Sky News in Australia is one of the few outlets doing actual news instead of running cover for Democrats.
It was Sky News that questioned Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass about why she jetted off to Africa while her city burned, leading to Bass standing in stone-faced silence and refusing to answer questions.
The latest Sky News video showed a woman named Rachel Darvish confronting Newsom over the inability of the state government to contain these fires.
“Governor, you got a second? Governor! I live here, governor! That was my daughter’s school, governor!” Darvish asked.
Newsom tried to brush her off by acting like he was on the phone with Joe Biden and he was addressing her concerns at that very moment.
“I’m literally talking to the president right now,” Newsom stated before adding, “To specifically answer the question of what we can do for you and your daughter.”
Darvish did what anyone in their right mind would do and didn’t take a politician at their word and asked Newsom to put Biden on speaker.
“Can I hear it? Can I hear your call? Because I don’t believe it,” Darvish stated.
Newsom then admitted he was lying to her and that he wasn’t really on the phone with Biden.
“I’m sorry, there’s literally– I’ve tried five times, that’s why I’m walking around to make the call,” Newsom stated.
That led to another obvious question by Darvish.
“Why is the president not taking your call?” Darvish inquired.
Newsom said it was because he didn’t have any cell phone service.
Darvish wasn’t about to let Newsom off the hook that easily.
“So let’s get it. Let’s get it. I want to be here when you call the president,” Darvish exclaimed.
Newsom then claimed he was working at that instant to make sure the woman received all the aid possible even though a minute prior he admitted he was lying to her about speaking with Joe Biden.
“I appreciate it. I’m doing it right now and it’s to immediately get reimbursements, individual assistance, and to help you. I’m devastated for you. I’m so sorry, especially for your daughter,” Newsom said.
“I’m gonna make the call to address everything I can right now, including making sure people are safe,” Newsom concluded.
Wow. Sky News caught Gavin Newsom using a fake phone call to avoid a desperate Mom and victim of the fires. He pretended to be on the phone with the President and she caught him.

Lying to average citizens that lost everything in a disaster isn’t exactly a winning look.
