Democrats seize on school tragedy for more gun control
Gun grabbers love school shootings because it gives them an opportunity to manipulate the American people’s sense of sorrow and anger in the wake of tragedy to push gun control.
The wake of the horrific events at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, was no different.
A female student killed two and injured six others in an act of utter madness.
Rather than trying to unite the American people in a shared sense of grief and offer prayers for the families of the victims, Kamala Harris dove right into the emotional blackmail to force Republicans to accept new laws banning and confiscating guns.
In a speech to students in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Kamala Harris preyed on her audience’s fears to demand legislation to disarm the American people.
“So let me start with just what has happened, actually yesterday, before I begin my other comments, about the horrific shooting yesterday in Madison, Wisconsin,” Kamala began.
“Of course, it’s another school shooting, another community being torn about and torn apart by gun violence. And, of course, our nation mourns for those who were killed. And we pray for the recovery of those who are injured and for the entire community,” Kamala continued.
Kamala then waved the proverbially bloody shirt in front of kids and urged Congress to pass gun grabs such as a so-called “assault weapons” ban and red flag confiscation laws.
“But look, as we hold our loved ones close this holiday season, we as a nation must renew our commitment to end the horror of gun violence, both mass shootings and everyday gun violence that touches so many communities in our nation. We must end it!” Kamala added.
“And we must be committed to have the courage to know that solutions are in hand. But we need elected leaders to have the courage to step up and do the right thing!” Kamala concluded.
Hunter Biden pardon comes back to bite Democrats
Joe Biden’s pardon of Hunter Biden didn’t just make Democrats look like liars and fools because it showed Joe Biden weaponizing the justice system for his own political benefit.
The Hunter Biden pardon also showed Democrats as hypocrites on gun control.
Democrats want to pile new law after new law on the books to confiscate firearms from law-abiding American citizens.
Joe Biden gave his son a get-out-of-jail-free card for lying on a federal background check form when purchasing a handgun in 2018.
Democrats claim background checks are necessary to keep guns out of the hands of criminals.
But Democrats don’t think Hunter Biden should have to go through one even as they demanded expanded background checks for the American people in an attempt to ban private sales of firearms.
