Alvin Bragg slammed for another politically motivated prosecution
Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragged launched another high-profile politically motivated criminal case against Marine veteran Daniel Penny.
Penny was riding on a subway car in Manhattan when a homeless career criminal began threatening women and children riding with him.
The Marine veteran put the criminal in a chokehold who later died at the hospital.
Bragg charged Penny with negligent homicide for acting in self-defense against someone who was a danger to him and the other passengers.
The media and left-wing activists hyped up a racial angle because Penny was white and the homeless man was black.
Bragg suffered a massive defeat after a jury acquitted Penny.
Trump attorney Alina Habba blasted Bragg for the Penny witch hunt during an appearance on Fox News.
Fox News host Dana Perino pointed to a headline from the Free Press about the case that read, “Daniel Penny’s Innocence and the Shame of Alvin Bragg. A just Verdict for Daniel. Danny Penny does not erase the cynical, wrongheaded, and unwarranted prosecution.”
Pernio noted that crime was up in Manhattan in virtually every category since Bragg became District Attorney.
“This is– this was an atrocity!” Habba exclaimed. “And I think that that is a very well-stated headline.”
Habba was well versed in Bragg’s lawfare from his sham criminal case against President-elect Donald Trump.
“Alvin Bragg is a disgrace. I have said that for years,” Habba said. “I have said that under what he did to President Trump. And I can assure you, as counselor to the president, when I get in the administration, I will make sure that this does not happen again. It is very disturbing to me.”
Alvin Bragg’s day of reckoning could be coming
Habba hinted that the Trump Justice Department wouldn’t let soft-on-crime District Attorneys like Bragg run wild.
“We have Pam Bondi in the attorney general’s office,” Habba explained. “She’s going to be tremendous. We have people making sure that these types of attacks on individuals while migrants run loose, while people can’t go to parks, while people are afraid to take subways, that this exact thing does not happen.”
House Republicans like Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) have suggested cutting off federal funding to politicized prosecutors like Bragg to leverage them into walking the straight and narrow.
Habba was named the Counselor to the President by Trump.
She warned that she would be looking into Bragg when she’s in the White House next year.
“Alvin Bragg has made a shame of New York, he has ruined our city,” Habba stated. “And it is really– we have no place for it in America anymore. And I can assure you on January 21st, I will definitely be putting my head down to make sure whatever we need to do to make sure this doesn’t happen– does not happen again.”
Alvin Bragg could finally face the music for his witch hunts under the Trump administration.
