Gibson spoke at the Americaās Future Champions For America Celebration GalaĀ put on at Mar-a-Lago by the group Americaās Future.
Legendary conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly founded the group in 1946 and former National Security Advisor, Lt. General Michael Flynn, is now its President.

Gibson returned to themes of The Sound of Freedom and told the crowd that he has nine children who he loves very much and that if any sex traffickers tried to steal them away into slavery, he would ākill someone,ā causing the crowd to burst into applause.
āI have nine kids. If one of them got stolen or trafficked or something, Iād have to kill someone,ā Gibson declared.

Gibson rarely speaks on politics as he was one of the biggest movie stars in the world in the 1980s and 1990s.
