Senator-elect Adam Schiff knows he’s in big trouble.
Trump winning a second term was a direct repudiation of all the witch hunts Schiff led.
And Adam Schiff is mad as hell over what Donald Trump had planned for the military.
The retribution hoax
One of the new hoaxes that the media and Democrat Party whipped up in the closing days of the election was the lie that Donald Trump planned to deploy the U.S. military against his political rivals if he won the election.
Democrats and the media twisted comments Trump made to Fox News about how if leftists rioted in response to him winning the election he would deploy the National Guard to put the insurrection down.
“I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics, and I think they’re the and it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard or if really necessary, by the military because they can’t let that happen,” Trump stated.
On CNN Russia collusion hoaxer Jake Tapper gave voice to the retribution hoax and asked Schiff if he thought Trump would order the military to bring Schiff to justice.
“Do you think that he was talking about using the military against you, and how concerned are you about retribution?” Tapper wondered.
Without skipping a beat Schiff launched right into the hoax that Trump planned to weaponize the armed forces against his political opposition.
“Clearly, that’s what he was talking about. Would he go to that link with the military and essentially fulfill some kind of an unconstitutional order? I would hope the military would have more independence than that,” Schiff began.
Schiff claimed the woke generals that undermined Trump in his first term were actually acting in the nation’s interest.
“Historically, the military has stood up to civilian authority where civilian authority has suggested, as in his first administration, unconstitutional acts. Um, look, I’m not going to be intimidated by anything he says by anything he does,” Schiff added.
Schiff tried to pay lip service to the idea he could play ball with Trump on areas where they had common ground.
“If I was, I wouldn’t be on your show. I’m going to do my responsibility in the Senate. Californians are expecting me, first and foremost, to try to work and get things done, work across the aisle where the president wants to fight prices. I will work with him. Where the president wants to engage in unconstitutional abuses of power, just as he did in the first administration, I will defend our state,” Schiff added.
Schiff masterminded the Russia collusion and Ukraine impeachment hoaxes.
No one seriously doubts that Schiff will use his term in the Senate to terrorize Trump with more witch hunts when Schiff claimed he would fight Trump at every opportunity.
“I will defend the rights and freedom of the American people. So, yeah, that’s what he said. That’s what he may try to do. But I’m not going to be intimidated,” Schiff concluded.
