Everything went wrong for Democrats in the Presidential election.
They’re starting to pick up the pieces after getting trounced.
And a Clinton advisor made this painful confession about Donald Trump’s victory.
Donald Trump realigned the Republican Party and shocked his critics
Former President Donald Trump pulled off the biggest comeback in American political history with his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.
He joined Grover Cleveland as the only other President to be elected to non-consecutive terms.
Trump managed to survive four sham criminal cases by Democrat prosecutors, two assassination attempts, the media, and the entire system working against him.
But he won all seven swing states on his way to becoming the first Republican in 20 years to win the popular vote.
Mark Penn – an advisor to former President Bill Clinton – noted on social media the shifts in the electorate toward Trump.
“The Trump edge is turning into a Trump trifecta. It looks like despite a good effort in a short period of time, Harris is falling short especially with young people and turnout in core urban areas. Black and especially Latino voters showed some shifts,” Penn wrote on X.
“Trump has brought home with working class and created a new coalition of governing but the country remains divided and whoever wins must remember it’s time to genuinely reach out to the many moderate voters looking for the right leadership,” Penn added.
Trump noted in his victory speech that he built the broadest political coalition in American history.
“They’ve never seen anything like it in all of American history,” Trump said. “They’ve never seen it. Young and old, men and women, rural and urban. And we had them all helping us tonight.”
“When you think, I mean, I was looking at it. I was watching it. They had some great analysis of the people that voted for us,” Trump explained. “Nobody’s ever seen anything like that. They came from all quarters. Union, non-union, African-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, Arab-American, Muslim-American.”
Kamala failed to improve in a single county in the country in this election compared to President Joe Biden in 2020.
Top black Democrat drops a bombshell
Trump likely turned in the best performance with black voters by a Republican Presidential candidate since Richard Nixon in the 1960 Election.
Representative Jim Clyburn (D-SC), the most influential black Democrat in the House, revealed that black voters in his district were asking for help on splitting their ticket to vote for Trump during an appearance on The Laura Coates Show on SiriusXM.
“I saw this coming several days ago when I began getting phone calls that there was something unusual taking place with early voting in the rural parts of my district,” Clyburn recalled. “There were African Americans coming into the polling booth asking for assistance to split their ticket, they wanted to vote for Democrats at the local level and for Trump.”
Clyburn said that he skipped a campaign trip to return home to South Carolina after he heard that.
“This was taking place in some very unusual places,” Clyburn said. “And this was one of the candidates, who was an employee of mine, told me he knew me very well. Told him, I’m voting for you and Clyburn. That woman showed me how to vote for Trump, and they were getting this information off the internet. So it didn’t surprise me.”
Donald Trump delivered a historic performance with entire groups of voters in his win.
