ABC News’ liberal bias usually runs unchecked.
But a rare act of journalism took place.
And ABC News just bodychecked Kamala Harris with this unexpected fact check.
Kamala Harris campaign invents fake scandal about Donald Trump
Kamala Harris’ campaign continues to be the number one spreader of misinformation in the 2024 election.
The Kamala Harris campaign’s X account continually shared deceptively edited clips of Donald Trump to push false narratives.
Kamala Harris’ team continually getting caught pushing misinformation even embarrassed her allies in the press to the point where they actually began to report the truth.
The latest example came when Kamala Harris tried to inject a fake news story about Donald Trump suffering from dementia into the 2024 election discourse.
Kamala’s campaign seized on a video of Trump listening to music at a town hall event in Pennsylvania as supposed evidence that Trump is somehow in cognitive decline.

ABC debunks Kamala Harris’ fake newsÂ
This was too much for even ABC News – the network of pro-Kamala Harris partisans David Muir and Linsey Davis – who reported the truth about what happened.
The room Trump held the event in was extremely hot and two people passed out from the heat.
ABC’s Terry Moran reported that, “30 minutes in, two attendees suffered medical emergencies.”Â
At that point, Trump cut off the town hall after only 30 minutes and asked for his team to play the musical set list that normally accompanies a Trump rally.
“The incidents shifted the mood, prompting Trump to cut the question short and instead play some of his favorite music,” Moran continued.
Moran nodded to liberals on social media trying to make a meme out of Trump’s behavior.
“In certain quarters of social media, people had a field day with that. And I guess on the screens, it might have looked quite strange,” Moran added.
But Moran said Trump acted normally, the crown enjoyed the set list, and that Trump interacted with his supporters.
“Inside that hall, however, people were having a good time. What can I tell you? It did not seem out of the ordinary,” Moran stated.
Moran told viewers that Trump even ventured out into the crowd.
“It seemed almost intimate. And at the end, Trump did something he very rarely does. He came down off the stage and mingled with his supporters,” Moran reported.
“He was signing autographs and shaking hands,” Moran concluded.
More reporting exposes Kamala Harris’ lies
The Daily Beast’s Rob Crilly was also at the event.
Crilly reported that Trump called an audible once he saw the second person faint from the heat, as Trump understood he was in danger of losing the room.
“By the time the second person collapsed in the heat of the overcrowded exhibition hall, the former president knew he had a problem. A few people at the back of the hall were making for the exits and he knew he needed to pump up the crowd. It was time for plan B,” Crilly wrote.
Trump began asking for his staff to play music to liven up the event.
“While we’re waiting … So we had a beautiful evening, and I don’t know if they could get this song up quickly, but if they could work really quickly backstage while we’re waiting … Ave Maria,” Trump announced.
Crilly told readers this was another example of Trump’s unique skills as a showman.
“It was a reminder that Trump is one of the most unpredictable politicians on the circuit,” Crilly remarked.
