Melania Trump’s memoir Melania hit shelves on October 8th.

The former First Lady began promoting the book with a series of interviews on Fox News.

While Melania Trump was out trying to sell books, her interviews also served another purpose.

Melania Trump helped humanize Donald Trump.

That became important because of the dynamic of the election.

Kamala Harris wants this election to be about personalities.

That makes it a referendum on Donald Trump.

An election about policies turns the election into a referendum on whether or not Americans are better off today than they were four years ago.

Kamala Harris and the Democrats can’t win that race.

Americans rarely see the personal side of Donald Trump, because Trump is always about projecting an image of strength.

Melania Trump tried to change that and blunt some of the advantages Kamala Harris held on the personality question with her interviews.

In her latest appearance on The Five, Melania Trump opened up on a subject Americans know very little about.

And that’s the couple’s son, Barron.

Barron recently began his freshman year at New York University where he’s studying at the Stern School of Business.

Melania told the hosts of The Five that Barron is enjoying college life.

“He loves his classes and his professors,” Melania Trump stated.

After four years of living in the White House and then moving to Mar-a-Lago, following his father leaving the White House, Barron is back in his native New York.

Melania admitted that this was a welcome homecoming for Barron.

“He’s doing well, he’s thriving and he’s enjoying being in New York City again,” Melania Trump added.

Melania Trump defends Donald Trump

Throughout Trump’s time in the White House – and even after the publication of her memoir, which included her support for abortion-on-demand – the media tried to create an image of Melania Trump as a secret member of the resistance, who was out to sabotage her husband’s political ambitions.

Melania Trump dispelled that fiction in her interview with The Five.

The former First Lady slammed the Left for creating the big lie that Donald Trump was a threat to democracy.

“When they call him, he’s a threat to democracy, let’s ask ourselves: Who is really interested in democracy?” Melania Trump asked.

Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are the ones who weaponized the justice system, allowing Democrat prosecutors to target Donald Trump with sham lawsuits and criminal indictments.

Democrats didn’t think they could win the election fair and square, so they enlisted partisan judges and prosecutors to press their thumbs down on the scale. 

“They are ongoing with lawfare against the former president, as well as … trying to … silence him,” Melania Trump stated.

“It’s a toxic atmosphere,” Melania Trump added.

Melania Trump also tried to provide the public with a glimpse of the Donald Trump that she knew.

“He’s very warm, he’s fun,” Melania stated.

Melania explained that Trump isn’t running for President to acquire fame or fortune.

Trump already had that.

Instead, Melania Trump said Donald Trump sought political office because he genuinely cared about the country and wanted to see all Americans prosper. 

“He’s very passionate about this country. … He wants to make this country safe so everybody has a job and [is] enjoying family life.” Melania Trump concluded.
