Fox News Channel hired Trey Gowdy for a reason.
Viewers know Gowdy won’t spare anyone’s sacred cows.
And all hell broke loose when Trey Gowdy exposed the truth that Kamala Harris wants to hide.
Trey Gowdy obliterates Democrat narrative on foreign election interference
For eight years, the media has pushed a nonsensical lie that Donald Trump is Russian President Vladimir Putin’s candidate.
The press went wild with this phony narrative about Russian election meddling when Iran hacked Donald Trump’s campaign and dispatched death squads to try and assassinate him.
Iran wanting to sabotage Trump’s campaign and murder him should show that if any foreign country wants a candidate to win, then it’s Iran trying to remove any obstacle to Kamala Harris heading into the White House.
Trey Gowdy had another take on the matter altogether.
Gowdy told Fox News host Dana Perino that the Americans didn’t see a foreign adversary as the biggest threat to the country.
“This is the way I break it down Dana: So it looks like Russia likes Trump and Iran likes Harris, okay? There is a difference between interference and preference. I am more worried about the fact that if you ask most of our fellow citizens what the greatest threat to our democracy is, they wouldn’t say Russia or Iran,” Gowdy began.
Gowdy told Perino that a majority of Americans would say the media is the number one danger to democracy closely followed by Big Tech.
The former South Carolina Congressman pointed to how Facebook and Twitter censored the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story as well as how the media eagerly amplified the lie spread by 51 former intelligence community members about how the laptop was the product of Russian disinformation as to why the public considered the press and social media a danger to the republic.
“They would say it is the mainstream media in this country, which you just proved with that previous story you did with Lindsey Graham and Amazon. Those two answers are, are baffling. Then you combine that with Google or Meta or whatever they call themselves and this — the Hunter Biden laptop where 50 different so-called intelligence experts countermanded what John Ratcliffe said, which was- this was actually not Russian disinformation,” Gowdy added.
A poll by Populace – a Massachusetts based think tank – and YouGov found that, in private, just seven percent of Americans say they trust the media to tell them the truth.
Trey Gowdy doesn’t find that – or the fact that the public thinks the media is a menace – surprising after eight years of Russia collusion hoaxes and other assorted lies about Donald Trump.
“So if I’m an American, yeah, I kind of expect Russia and Iran to want to mess with us and sow the seeds of discord. I really don’t expect it to be The New York Times and The Washington Post, and Politico. But I’ll bet you most Americans would say they fear that more than they do foreign interference,” Gowdy concluded.
