50 Cent delivered one brutal truth that left this NYC socialist scrambling for damage control

50 Cent just reminded New York City Democrats why they keep losing voters.

The rapper wasn’t having any of this politician’s tax-and-spend nonsense.

And 50 Cent delivered one brutal truth that left this NYC socialist scrambling for damage control.

Socialist candidate learns the hard way about naming names

New York City’s newest Democrat mayoral candidate thought he could casually throw around celebrity names to make his radical tax plans sound reasonable.

Zohran Mamdani, the Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez-backed candidate who declared victory in the Democrat primary this week, made a massive mistake during his appearance on "The Breakfast Club" podcast on June 11.

The socialist politician was explaining his plan to jack up taxes on corporations and the wealthy when he decided to single out rapper 50 Cent by name.

According to Fox News, Mamdani told "The Breakfast Club" podcast: "I know if 50 Cent is listening, he’s not going to be happy about this. He tends to not like this tax policy, but I want to be very clear this is about $20,000 a year. It’s a rounding error."

That condescending attitude about other people’s money is exactly why Democrats keep getting crushed in elections.

Mamdani’s plan calls for raising corporate taxes and slapping a flat 2% tax increase on anyone making a million dollars or more per year.

He claimed this would help "Trump-proof" the city and make "every New Yorker’s life better."

But 50 Cent had a different idea about what would make New York better.

50 Cent makes an offer Mamdani can’t refuse

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, wasn’t about to let some politician use his name to justify higher taxes.

Fox News reported that 50 Cent responded on Instagram with an offer that had New Yorkers laughing and Mamdani’s team scrambling.

"Where did he come from? Whose friend is this? I’m not feeling this plan. No," 50 Cent wrote. "I will give him $258,750 and a first class one-way ticket away from NY. I’m telling Trump what he said too!"

The message was crystal clear: take your socialist policies and get out of New York.

50 Cent’s response perfectly captured what millions of Americans think about politicians who treat taxpayers like piggy banks.

The rapper has been down this road before with tax-happy Democrats.

In 2020, 50 Cent endorsed President Donald Trump after learning that Joe Biden’s tax plan would hit New York at a 58% rate and New York City at 62%.

"WHAT THE F–K! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT," Jackson wrote on Instagram at the time. "F–K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f–king mind."

He later walked back that endorsement, but his point about crushing tax rates was spot on.

Democrats still don’t get why they’re losing

Mamdani’s casual dismissal of $20,000 as a "rounding error" shows exactly what’s wrong with the Democrat Party.

These politicians act like other people’s money belongs to them.

They think they can just wave their hands and declare that successful Americans should fork over more cash for their pet projects.

But voters are getting sick of this attitude.

50 Cent’s offer to pay Mamdani to leave New York is hilarious, but it also makes a serious point.

If politicians like Mamdani want to turn New York into a socialist paradise, maybe they should try it somewhere else first.

New Yorkers have already seen what happens when left-wing politicians get their hands on tax policy.

The city has been hemorrhaging residents and businesses for years as people flee high taxes and failed policies.

Mamdani wants to make that problem even worse by targeting the wealthy and successful with even higher tax rates.

His plan to "Trump-proof" the city is really just code for making New York so expensive that only government-dependent voters will stick around.

50 Cent’s response shows that successful Americans aren’t going to quietly accept being treated like cash cows for socialist schemes.

The rapper’s offer might be tongue-in-cheek, but his message is deadly serious: keep pushing these policies and watch more taxpayers head for the exits.

Fox News Digital reached out to Mamdani’s team for comment, but they probably wish this whole thing would just go away.

When you’re getting schooled by a rapper on basic economics, it might be time to rethink your political strategy.
